For me the most telling thing in that photo is that Devlin is sitting so far removed from the two other players when there is a vacant seat beside them. It smacks of a worrying lack of esprit de corps. You could have the best players in the world but without that you're going to struggle. Where is Burrows??? Quote

Fair comment mate, but the only problem I see here is that our play-off would likely be against Partick Thistle so, on that front we would heading into unknown virgin territory, and to be honest I really woodna fancy our lot's chances against Partick. I actually predicted at the start of the season Partick to win the championship, (did not forsee the Perth fairmers being as consistent as they have been in there this season) Anyway us against Partick in a playoff and I think it would be the preverbial tatties oor the side for us Quote
Bukta Bertie Posted Wednesday at 06:32 Report Posted Wednesday at 06:32 Just to inject a sense of reality into proceedings. Here's the bottom six of the league table. The play off will be between Killie and Thistle. Quote

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Killie will finish in the play off position too. Not too sure who will make the play offs in the Championship though, as the play off games usually throw up some surprises. We will be saved by so many other teams being equally as shit as us, or worse, and I can't see any team below us going on a winning run, although I am sure we will find a hard way to avoid the play off. A win this Saturday really would be really welcome. 1 Quote

We have been shite in some games but we're not as shite as Killie. "But but 3-0 but but Neil McCann". But but my arse. They'll finish second bottom. Even St Mirren will have to go some to overtake us. Yes I have changed my mind about us finishing 7th and winning all our post split games but I haven't changed my mind about relegation. It won't happen. Relax and try and enjoy the closing games of the season (if you are going to attend them. I'm certainly not going in Saturday) with the pressure off. It'll do you good. It must all be down to wearing your red tinted glasses that you really need to take off now and again (it will help you believe me) Looking at the pre split fixtures, and being honest and realistic there is a strong chance that going into the split there could be about 2 or 3 points separating Dons, St Mirren, Killie and Dundee If that is the case we should punt money on the dons ending up in the play off spot. It's a sad sad state of affairs to put it mildly Edited Wednesday at 07:34 by Blow.Up.Sheep Quote

Couple of wins for them and they potentially leap frog us. Sooner we get at least six points in the bag the sooner I relax 2 Quote
Bukta Bertie Posted Wednesday at 08:41 Report Posted Wednesday at 08:41 Some people are just happier surrounding themselves in drama. Takes all sorts I guess. I'm very relaxed about letting Killie beat Hearts on Saturday, in fact I'll welcome it, even if it means them closing the gap to five. Post split we'll garner plenty points. We have seen absolutely sweet fk all from our bunch of charlatans to suggest that from any games we are guaranteed anything, this is going to be a telling / worrying and trying time ahead. And then post split when we face all our immediate competitors all in the same boat fighting for their lives to avoid that play-off spot I really don't see our lot having that desire and fight at all. Here is my prediction how thing will pan out after the next 4 games 11th place - KIllie 27 / 28 points 10th place - St MIrren 28 / 29 points 9th place - Dons 30 / 31 points 8th place - Dundee 31 / 32 points Then post split it's a fukin dog fight I hope to fuk I am wrong but I just canna see where we are going to get that much needed spark from to turn things around and move away from that relegation battle, that we clearly in Edited Wednesday at 11:03 by Blow.Up.Sheep Quote
