BigAl Posted yesterday at 10:06 Author Report Posted yesterday at 10:06 Our Moroccan Magician (2026 version) is officially an Aberdeen player. Three year deal with the option of a further year. Welcome on board loon Quote
swaddon Posted yesterday at 11:37 Report Posted yesterday at 11:37 "It is a great honour to have the opportunity to join a club with the history and stature of Aberdeen," Mouloua told club media, just after he had Googled who Aberdeen are. Or maybe I'm wrong, and he's been a Top Red all his life, growing up watching Adam Rooney and Darren Mackie and idolising them. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted yesterday at 14:54 Report Posted yesterday at 14:54 Really interesting signing. At the same time, yengi, Ambrose, and lazetic all had histories and YouTube clips that made them interesting. However, joint top scorer in the Moroccan league last year, so he can score. And two recent caps for a legit international team. Supposedly we’ve after him for months, plus have scouted him multiple times. We the three failures above, sounds like we were really thorough with this guy. Fingers crossed. 1 Quote
The.Moog Posted yesterday at 15:24 Report Posted yesterday at 15:24 (edited) As you say, the guys got a couple of recent international caps in a legit top tier side. That’s got to say something. The scouting reports say he’s absolutely not suited to long ball football either, so hopefully that also says something positive about Robinson’s tactical plan for this season. If he’s anywhere near as entertaining as Zero was, he’ll do me. Welcome aboard loon. Heads off to dig the fez out the attic… Edited yesterday at 15:25 by The.Moog Quote
TheDonbytheDee Posted yesterday at 15:40 Report Posted yesterday at 15:40 He made reference to being excited to getting to try a chipper supper for the first time, fae a proper chipper and having a rowie at Cormack Park canteen the morn, for his breakfast. Welcome onboard the Robinson express min. 1 Quote

BigAl Posted yesterday at 16:38 Author Report Posted yesterday at 16:38 Too fucking lazy to check this myself BUT have we ever signed EIGHT players within the first fortnight of a transfer window before Quote

Also, playing the cup means an earlier competitive start so we need players earlier anyway. Agree though, a good thing! 1 Quote

It's not great having to sign so much players in one window, knowing that a 50%, success rate would be about as good as we can expect. I really hope this is the last summer of this pish, of signing so many players, but we've been saying the same thing for a few years now. Hopefully Robinson is the man to break this cycle. Quote
Panda Posted yesterday at 17:42 Report Posted yesterday at 17:42 So is this how we shape up just now? Few others in there like Yengi, Lazetic and Ambrose but suspect they're on their way out, same with Milanovic (included him though because he featured v Cove). Couldn't fit in Mercer but suspect he'll go out on loan anyway. Possibly Lobban too. Maybe even Milne but think they'll wait and see how Tobers' fitness goes first. Midfield: Hard to judge based on one friendly how Robinson sees it shaping up (I've a few players out of position there simply just to fit them in). It could even be more of a 4-2-3-1 with Nisbet and Mouloua starting together and switching. Maybe a 4-3-1-2 with Keskinen and Armstrong deeper. Anyway, thoughts at this stage are we need to ship out the dead wood, I pray that defence is solid, and jury remains out on whether Yogane & Olusanya will be at the level we require. I also do look at that midfield and think it still lacks one top player who can dictate games, but not seen enough of Briedl or Ronan yet. 1 Quote

Blow.Up.Sheep Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Tony Yogane: Winger Connor Ronan: Midfielder Toyosi Olusanya: Loan to permanent Striker Lewis Mayo: Central Defender Brad Lyons: Midfielder Dan Happe: Defender Alexander Briedl: Midfielder Ayoub Mouloua: Striker Above are the eight players we have signed so far. I must admit I am warming to Robinson and have a good feeling about him and his managerial tenure with us. I think we could be OK in the striker department, and also think we could have a solid central defensive pairing in Mayo and Happe I have not seen Ronan play but I do still think we might need to be looking for a creative midfielder. All in all pretty content with our business so far and am looking forward to the coming season with a level of optimism, although in normal BUS style still trying to lower my expectations. Quote
Dougal Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago Possibly another boost to funds if Lewis Ferguson is on the move. Hopefully he has more brains than his dad and uncle and moves to a big club. Quote

If he has anything about him, he'll stay in Italy rather than move back to Scotland to pick up runner-up medals with Rangers. He will probably turn out for them when he's 35 and in the last knockings of his career. Quote

BigAl Posted 6 hours ago Author Report Posted 6 hours ago Alexander Jensen set for Aberdeen transfer exit as Elfsborg eye up six-figure star The Dons paid £650,000 to sign the Danish defender from Brommapojkarna last year, but Aberdeen are now looking to get more than they paid for the Scottish Cup winner. Fuck me, that would be some bit of business if we turn a profit on him Quote
Slim Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Can only assume the offer was faxed over in Krona not GBP. Quote

Jensen isn't anywhere near the worst player we've had but he certainly wasn't a good fit for Scottish football, or at least our style of play in it. A profit would be excellent. Quote
