Kilmarnock v Aberdeen

Another Saturday 3 pm kick-off beckons for the Dons as they travel to deepest, darkest Ayrshire to take on struggling Kilmarnock on the 31st January.

Kilmarnock have Neil McCann at the wheel (at the time of writing) and have only won twice in the league all season. We have beaten them twice already, although we were lucky in both games.

Maybe it's unfounded optimism on my part after today, but I fancy us to cuff them 3-0.

This is true. I’m unsackable in my job and I do the bare minimum every single day. I’m currently trying to teach myself card tricks during office hours

Quicker they are relegated with their plastic pitch the better

Yep. Hopefully teams with quality pitches, like Partick, can come up. Obviously it might take a bit of time to get to the level of Dundee United's pitch, but grass is certainly the gold standard.

Expect Killie will look to thwart Topi so might overload their right side of defence . Could give more opportunity for Bilalovic on our right. If we don’t take this game by the scruff of the neck and win it comfortably I think we are resigned to bottom 6 as the next batch of games will be tough and we need the confidence of a run to go into it.

Maybe, and if so just leaves space for bilalovic and Cameron too. The way it should be with multiple threatening attacking players. Just hope leven doesnt pull a Thelin and rotate the squad. He said other than the long term injuries everyone is fit, no need for change other than Milne.

Isn’t this the last season for plastic pitches in the top flight?

Assuming the above is still accurate.

Happy with that side.

Lets hope Morrison is as advertised, a CH who is good in the air, cause by fuck we need one.

Mon i Dons…

No afeez but good to see Kjarten back in the squad. COYR!

Got away with one there.Mitov a bit cavalier...

Fuck me, killie should have scored twice already.

Simple killie free kick and pretty much a free header. Awful.
saying that, killie look equally bad at the back.

Deservedly one down, been a really poor start from us.

What a liability Mitov is. Terrible performance from everyone so far.

Killie have scored twice already.   Sake.

Dare I say it, shinnie has to be careful given we’re shit and he’s already booked. Next goal is huge, but equally huge is discipline from shinnie.

That first goal isn't Mitov's fault. A good punch, with plenty of distance. Armstrong doesn't bother to close.

Morrison doesn't look positionally great so far, but expect he doesn't know what his teammates are doing. Two goals deserved.

One good result and we think we’re a good team? Being totally outworked, second to everything.

Bilalovic is terrible defensively. A real liability. It was the same against Livingston. He just saunters miles in field leaving the guy in heaps of space.

Keep the head folks.

We have gave away the cheap goals early this week and will come back into this soon.

It's the Aberdeen way.

At worst we have to go in one down at half. Need at least one and can’t concede. I expect a very stuffy second half if we’re two down and we’ll get nothing. Need a goal and momentum shift.
