tlg1903 Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I'm genuinely surprised at the negativity 2bh. This is hardly a brilliant Celtic side and it's not even the best team we have played this week. Could have done without the midweek game 2bf but they had one too and are going to be smarting from it. The crowd is going to be on their back from the first whistle and as long as we hold out the inevitable kitchen sink chucking they throw at us in the early stage of the game we have a great chance imo. The big concern is all goals shipped midweek came from silly mistakes and there's only so many sitters John Kenny is going to miss. Quote
Slim Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I think it’s PTSD from previous games against an on-the-ropes Old Firm team where we’ve gone in far too cautiously as if we’re playing the 1970 Brazil team and allowed them to give us a morale-boosting humping. 1 Quote
The.Moog Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago This one is absolutely there for the taking - with the right attitude and approach. I just cant feel overly confident given our truly abysmal track record against this lot. Put it this way, if I was a Tim then AFC is exactly the team I’d want to be playing against today… Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Wins for us and the Huns would be a great way to go into Xmas. 5th place, 3 off third, 6 off second, and only 12 off the lead with a game in hand. we’re going to win the league. Team as expected. Would’ve nice to see Armstrong get the winner, but any scorer, even Jensen, will be acceptable! COYR!! Quote
swaddon Posted 6 hours ago Author Report Posted 6 hours ago Opta (via BBC Sport) has it as a 3-4-3 formation. I doubt that very much. Quote

Keskinen Lazetic and Karlsson the front three. We've been playing that way for weeks now, so I doubt he'd change it. Not sure Armstrong midfield is a good thing, but nevermind. Quite an attacking lineup. Quote

Panda Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago That Celtic line-up is (on paper, and pre-match while my optimism is still at relatively normal levels) is as poor a side as I can remember facing at Parkhead. One recognised centre half, in between Ralston and a Tierney who isn't the player he was. Yang, who was one of Aberdeen's best players in the cup final. And Kenny, who isn't even close to the level of striker you expect Celtic to have. Maeda, McGregor and Engels the only players in that team to worry about. Fuck it, it's a winnable game for Aberdeen, get at them. Quote
The.Moog Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Pretty much same Tim team as Wednesday. Small, physically weak, can be bullied and got at. Hope JT saw the second half of that one… Quote

There defence is definitely beatable, we just need to be confident enough to take it to them. Quote
Elgindon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago faffing about a bit too much around the box Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Hanging on a bit right now. Need to get out. Quote
RicoS321 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Struggling a bit. Lazetic not been great. He's got his eyes on the player rather than the game. Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago One down, we’ve been piss the last 15 mins or so, getting deeper and deeper. Quote
irnbru1903 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago The biggest surprise is they have missed all their chances so far Quote
Panda Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago (edited) That goal has been coming because we're getting caught in possession and have no-one to pass to. Keskinen has to go back the way, Lobban receives it in a horrible position, and Maeda - like I knew he would - just kills us down the left. We're beating ourselves here. Elgindon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Yip they score from one of the many chances we gift them Quote
