Senegal beat 10 man Mali 1-0 in first quarter final. Due to my work actually wanting me to do what they pay me for never got a chance to watch any of it.

Morocco 1-0 up on Cameroon after 25 minutes. Brahim Diaz with his 5th goal of the tournament.

Morocco 2-0 up now. Cameroon have not been able to get close to breaching the Moroccan defence.

Finished 2-0 to Morocco. Never in doubt as soon as they got ahead. Look like they will be very hard to beat in June as very strong defensively. Never gave Cameroon a sniff of goal tonight.

Pretty tight affair between Algeria and Nigeria so far. 0-0 at half time.

Nigeria much better in second half and running out deserved 2-0 winners.

Finished 3-2 to Egypt. Best of quarter finals. Holders out. Semi finals are Senegal v Egypt and Morocco v Nigeria.

First game today is Senegal v Egypt at 5pm followed by Morocco v Nigeria at 8pm.

0-0 at half time. Senegal with all the possession but unable to breakdown a stout Egyptian defence. Cannot remember Egypt touching the ball in the Senegalese box in first half.

To be fair, if Egypt are playing again at 8pm, I can understand them not wanting to expend too much energy attacking.

Finished 1-0 Senegal. Missed second half as went out to get picture with Scottish Cup.

Much better game between Morocco and Nigeria but same half time result as the first game. Both sides had chances and hard to call who will win this one.

Morocco win 4-2 on penalties. Nigerian penalties were really poor.
