Great to see three 'wee' clubs in the semis. All there on merit, and way better than the engineered pish in, for example, the Champions League where it is hard for the 'big' clubs not to get there.

  • I felt a great disturbance in the North, as if millions of fivers cried out at once and were suddenly silenced.

  • My mate's loon plays for Deveronvale - both good Dons men - so good to see them beating Darvel.

Well called that wrong

St Mirren v Partick Thistle

Falkirk v Dundee United/Spartans

Blue Bigots v Green Bigots

Dunfermline v Aberdeen/Motherwell

In the uncertain event we beat the Well, thats about as good as we could have hoped for...

Is this the earliest that Rangers and Celtic have ever been drawn to face each other in the cup?

Sure I remember them being drawn in round before quarter finals before. Maybe 2010ish.

Massive fixture now on 18th. Play kids against them in the league, bamboozle them for a riding in the cup game (more likely to bamboozle ourselves I hear you say?).

Great draw if we get through. Hopefully a decent kick-off time & I imagine we'd sell out the away end.

All four quarter finals are usually on the TV so we can forget about Saturday 3pm.

Great draw, got to obviously get by Motherwell, plus a new manager bounce would help. A semi draw with st mirren falkirk and an ugly sister, a final at hampden isn’t out of reach.

Hope to see a new gaffer this week. Going into the cup game with new leadership will be a boost. I fear a blah re,winder of the season under leven though.

KO time 7:30 on Saturday 7th March, should we beat Motherwell.

After watching Motherewell last night  I don't think we will need to worry about kick off time on 7th March.

I've not even had my first coffee and cornflakes by then. At least wait until lunch time. What the fuck are the SFA playing at with these anti-Aberdeen times!

It's because of our massive fan base in the far East.

Arabs down to 10 men against Spartans.

Despite being down to 10 Arabs beat Spartans 2-1 to progress to next round.

First of quarter finals on tonight with United taking on Falkirk at their 3 sided dump. Live on BBC Scotland.

Bugger. Didn't see this thread until now.

Are we bothered about who wins between The Terrors and The Bairns tonight?

Personally I'd prefer the Tayside outfit to triumph. Haven't had a semi-final against them in ages.

Used to be quite an affair.

Ah I thought you had deleted your post. Didn’t realise was in a different thread.

I would rather Arabs got through as think we have better chance of beating them.

Great game. Great atmosphere without the need for either set of Ultras to sing about the IRA or Derry's walls.

Impressed.

By a mile. Arabs are having no luck at the moment.

McGlynn is almost certainly a good enough manager for us, and almost certainly better than the fashionable foreigners that we're courting.

This looks over already. United don’t look capable of scoring 1 never mind 2 to get back on terms.

Wasn't there a league match between this two not too long ago where United made a spirited comeback? Although I think they maybe still lost in the end. 3-2 sounds about right.

Shows what I know 2-1 now.

As an aside what's with all the Scotland flags and SNP hoarding boards.

Was Falkirk the capital of Scotland in ancient times?

Think flags are just down to club colours.

Game has completely flipped this half. United dominating and looking more likely to score.

"on point". Fine the commentator.

Keep that sort of yank talk out of our game.
