  • Woke pish. We used to play in 40 degrees, with a fag at half time to quench the thirst.

  • Amateurs, back in my day we smoked ten woodbine and necked quarter bottle of grouse with a couple of cans of the red T 😉

  • I initially thought he might make Christmas before getting punted but if he keeps going the way he is I doubt he will see the end of August. Dundee fans I know are already unanimous in wanting him fir

I take it all bets are off for Pressley being thr first Scottish Premier manager to get the boot? Just having a wee gander at TheDarkBlues forum, the "Sack Pressley Now!" thread was started 5 days ago and is already 15 pages long

Today’s results

Some more thumpings handed out again today.

Final game is St Mirren v Ayr is tomorrow and the draw for 2nd round is after that.

I am actually wishing him well.

Firstly, and mainly, because he at least gives good soundbites, and I have to listen to most of these manager interviews every Saturday. Give me a Pressley or Martindale over Kettlewell and McInnes every day of the week.

But also, he scored two cracking goals for Aberdeen in his career, and has said before he grew up as a Dons fan, so he seems like a good guy.

Will take that.

Great draw from a personal perspective.

Away to Morton 👍

Really hoping for a 3pm saturday KO although it might rule the likes if me out of getting a ticket.

Be great to see a full house at Cappielow with the open 'terrace' mobbed with dandies.

Vaguely remember Hearts got 3,000 tickets for their Scottish cup game against Morton last year. Would expect us to get something similar.

If you think Walking Dead with buckfast then that should give you an idea of the Cappielow experience.

Sounds like Dingwall 2bh

I used to hate going to Cappielow back in the day.

Certain Andy Ritchie always seemed to manage to turn it on against us.

Almost thirteen years since I was last there for a 2-0 win with goals from Vernon & Rae.

Same result again will do nicely 👍

Aye, the draw has given a few older fans I know ptsd 😂😂

Anyone going should be aware Morton have a pack of teenage 'ultras' who decided to play at being casuals at the train station with Partick fans at new year.

They were held back by 3 coppers who essentially told them to stop being wee fannies but it might encourage some of the muppets in the dons support who don't play at being casuals.

If I do manage to get a ticket I may drive or if using the train, avoid Cartsdyke station and walk back to Greenock's main one

Suspect that there will be a few more cops there for Aberdeen.

They were our bogie team for quite a while. Was 13 years ago the last time we played them? My old man is a Morton fan so I do keep an eye out for them, cannot remember us playing them in recent years.

I used to support Watford and I made my dad drive from Musselburgh one midweek in the 80s when they payed Morton in a friendly - Luther Blisset & John Barnes playing with Ellton John in thr crowd 😂

It really should be quite the day with Hearts also playing at 3pm in Renfrewshire, and therefore their support arriving back at Glasgow central at the same time as Aberdeen, and potentially a few thousand Rangers fans kicking about ahead of their late kick-off at home to Alloa.

Yes I shall be attending.

Decided against standing in the open as that 'terrace' seemed pretty precarious when it was empty let alone with 1000+ on it.

With a proper terrace or standing in a plastic seat area there is less chance of a 'David Busst' should you fall forward in a goal celebration
