  1. A club statement to the effect that we won't be offering down payment in future should be forthcoming, hopefully.
  2. Tom Ritchie on the bench. Mitov never gets injured anyway.
  3. We need him back for the cup final so that he can nail that other good Japanese lad.
  4. Nice one. Apologies, I would have said earlier if I'd thought it was a universal problem.
  5. Obviously I looked after myself first by buying a ticket before coming on here to remind everyone else. It wasn't working for me either this morning, so I went to the season ticket renewal page, then clicked on tickets from that page, then away matches, and then scrolled down to the cup final from there. I assumed that it was just me having issues.
  6. Reminder to all of the super fans that tickets are now on sale. Lesser fans can get there's around 11am.
  7. Aye, I'd go Keskinen at number 10 I think. Pace and gets stuck in.
  8. She couldn't do the accent. Too weegie.
  9. There's no goal line technology in Scotland. I think it might have been in, going by that picture and imagining it swung round, but on field decision has to be the call every time.
  10. And yet all we hear about is fucking Lockerbie and all its victims. Where's the six parter on the sailing club fiasco? Typical fucking Sky TV. They only give a fuck about two teams and a plane bombing.
  11. I'm assuming, then, that if we sell out our allocation this season, having done so last season, that next time we'll be trusted just to sell our allocation rather than have to provide up front payment? Or do the Tims require up front payment too?
  12. £50 a ticket is absolutely fucking horrendous though.
  13. I disagree. The correct move would be to withdraw our team from the final unless as even as possible a distribution of tickets was provided without clause. Our job is to appear at a cup final instantiated in fairness, not to provide the SFA with a guaranteed income stream. There's enough bias in the game in this country, I don't think we need to be pandering to it. Tell them to get fucked.
  14. To be honest, it seems like another case of a lad with a pushy agent, being punted across the UK. I'm assuming he's over here on a study visa or some such? I doubt Tayport would have got international clearance otherwise! Good luck to him, must be difficult for a young goalie in a foreign country, and more so given the route he appears to have taken. I suspect he'll face a lot of rejection on his path if he does every make it.
  15. Then you'll surely have immediately put the money on him being second goalscorer?
  16. I've seen them do it once or twice before, when they are highlighting a particular player and showing several of their opportunities, some of which might not have made the cut, but never seen it when discussing a whole team's performance. When you saw some of the chances shown from other games too, it just adds to the evidence that it was a poor edit. In fairness, it's a very tight turnaround to get a pigeon with a VHS strapped to it to Glasgow for 19:15.
  17. Would be a great signing, especially if we finished third. However, I'm not actually sure what we're looking for in a number ten either. Are we looking for a McGrath replacement, or someone who can improve on the role that Gueye is performing? One of each?
  18. Aye, I think something went wrong with the editing there. They even showed a previously unseen highlight where Bushiri blocked two shots in a row in the post-highlights piece, which was easily as relevant as any of the highlights shown. Peter Grant is a simpering imbecile. Barely literate fuckwit. He was there to fulfil the need to have a "Celtic man" on the show. In fairness, finding a literate one would have been extremely difficult.
  19. You only got 40/1? That's wild. I'd have Aberdeen at 40/1 now they're in the final.
  20. Hilarious. Who the fuck listened to that man and thought "he's a manager"? In Scotland? Fucking hell.
  21. Also, great to see Nisbet properly celebrate against his former club. None of that faux apologetic shite* that the modern lads do these days. Beautiful finish like. *I expect that cunt McGrath to jog back to halfway, with one hand raised apologetically when he scores against us next season.
  22. Great result, and a dominant performance against a Hibs team that came to sit in and keep it tight. To the extent that they were slowing everything down from early on. We were solid at the back throughout, especially Knoester (MOTM), who is a fantastic signing. Dorrington and Shinnie also solid and Jensen was fine. Nisbet really good and Keskinen worked hard, with Okkels doing well when he came on. Morris worked hard but didn't do much, whereas Gueye didn't do much and also didn't work hard. That position is a real issue, and I think he might be tempted to go with McGrath there, which is a shame as the idea behind Gueye being there is solid. Clarkson very good in midfield again, and once again Palaversa didn't come out in the second half and didn't really do much in the first either. That leaves Polvara, who was miles better than Palaversa when he came on, and has to start the next match. He was strong and direct and used the ball really well. Maybe we're easing him in for him to explode onto the scene at the final. Well done the Dons though, and well done Thelin. We were patient and that sets us up nicely for the remaining four games. Utd will struggle to make up the points I'd think.
  23. I disagree with Jensen further forward. He hasn't taken a player on for us once. That's why he's a fullback, to give him that space to play in. Further forward, he'd just be reaching their fullback, turning and going back the way. I wouldn't rule it out against a good team away, when we needed to defend, but not the way I'd set up against Hibs at home. Agree with Polvara and Milne though, although it would be harsh on Dorrington. I suspect we'll see Dorrington today and, depending on results, perhaps Milne in the next couple.
  24. Partick beat Falkirk in the seventh minute of injury time. Are Falkirk going to give us the bottle job of the century?
