  1. Aye, I think there's probably a consistency issue with Mulligan, but he definitely has the potential to be good with a bit of direction. It's also another Scottish player, of which there are slim pickings at the moment it seems.
  2. Aye, a decent bit of business for them. Looks a good player, albeit one that might need a bit of coaching and strict instruction.
  3. What do you think now?
  4. The strip is the only thing standing between us and silverware in my opinion.
  5. I'll join you. Collars are for rugby and golf.
  6. For less than the cost of two strips, I can lie down on the train tracks before they enter the city.
  7. I wasn't aware that the former Falkirk and Dundee Utd player serviced cars.
  8. Like a couple of new signings.
  9. The bollocks about ending extra time that we hear about very regularly (and will likely happen), is just that. Nine men trying to hold on for thirty minutes is great fun. The tension in the stadium for the fans is second to none (well, maybe penalties). We experienced that in the cup final, and it was a big part of the experience.
  10. Good end to the 90 in the Germany v Italy game. Extra time with Italy down to 9 men, equalising with a beauty of a free kick with the last kick.
  11. Watched the second half, the Portuguese were pish. Like watching the Tims against us in the cup, totally toothless.
  12. If that was the case, surely they could have added a bit about us being in for shankland too?
  13. Okay, Derek Adams.
  14. I get a free ticket to the Ipswich game apparently, for paying for a season ticket during COVID. Good work the club. I would have boycotted that English pish had I had to pay, of course.
  15. I could look on the internet, but I refuse. I thought he was a January signing of McInnes' last season. Maybe on a pre-contract, or was he injured or something and didn't actually play under McInnes? I thought Hedges left under McInnes too, so I'm probably just a year out on all of it.
  16. Agreed. Not just all that though, our model is based on selling players, and Miovski would hopefully have been a great advert of what we can produce. I think Girona could be making a mistake by getting rid of him, and hopefully another club of similar stature take a punt and get the best out of him. It's quite like the Ramsay situation for me. Both players were the pinnacle of their respective departments, and they've both gone on to fail (so far, plenty of time for both). We've obviously had Ferguson as a success, McKenna, Ramadani and so on, but it'd be worth a lot, in terms of reputation, to be churning out these success stories with regularity. A successful Miovski would allow us to demand the same or more for signings in future. I don't doubt that Miovski's high fee was influenced by the success of Ferguson and Ramadani for example.
  17. Is Vinnie the only player left from the McInnes era? Was McInnes still here when he signed? Obviously, discounting Shinnie, who was then wasn't here, and is again. We've got zero long term players once Shinnie returns.
  18. They obviously turned down the BOGOF deal that we offered with Ambrose thrown in. Shame. Good to see us getting players shipped out. Ambrose and Jensen departing would be good to see, alongside Vinnie. That'd leave us in decent shape to be picking up the 6-7 players we'd expect to see in, even with a few of those being pish.
  19. Aye, I am! I meant to say really useful player, rather than good. He's strong and fast. Get him doing one thing repeatedly and he could be an asset. Get him to be aggressive and he'd be even better. Robinson might beat that into him. He's got previous.
  20. He could be a really good player. Has all the attributes to be, but he just looked entirely lacking in confidence and very nervous. A real rabbit in the headlights. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out fine at some point in his career, maybe even under Robinson.
  21. He was improved, certainly, and he definitely seemed to be putting in the effort, but still didn't have the fundamentals. Technically no worse than Okkels I guess, but not as good positionally. Guys like him should be part of the churn of the system. A lesson McInnes never learned. You'd like to think that if we signed a winger that we thought was good, then the minimum we'd get is someone that fills a squad like Vinnie. We don't need lots of them.
  22. Right call I think. Got a nice touch and quick feet, but it was clear after a couple of months that he was just going to be a bit below standard. Was never quick enough to get away from players, or strong enough to hold onto possession. A good finisher and technically good player. He'd probably do a good job for likes of county in previous seasons.
  23. Can't be arsed looking, are Ipswich part of the big time in England (biggest league in the world, richest etc etc)? Or are they lower league pish? Will they attract the sky sports pant-pishers for a sellout?
  24. Had to finish my coffee, then a twenty minute yap to the coffee shop staff and regulars. Important stuff.
  25. Hopefully we can reach a treaty with Maastricht.
