  1. Great post and exactly what I can see and can't for the life of me understand Aberdeen fans supporting unless they only drive to games and go home.

    Which many do of course

The idea that Kingsford is 'in Aberdeen' is amazing. Can you walk to it? No.
Yes, from Westhill, Kingswells, maybe even Skene if yer feeling frisky.  Can you walk to Pittodrie, aye if you live close to it. See the similarities?

Can you bus to it from all over? No.
I imagine when football specials are put in, then pretty much aye.

Are there any other options other than driving? No. Because it's not Aberdeen and would finish the club.
Buses, both of the supporters kind, and First Bus/Stagecoach + specials. So, aye. Like now.

6000 fans on fucking 100% capacity buses for an average game to a place that buses don't go.
Apparently 45% of fans come from the shire, plus away fans. So you're basically saying all city based fans take the bus with that figure. Utter nonsense.

When folk get sick of being herded on shambolic sardine tin buses what they going to do? Drive if they can and want to to where there already is no parking?
Tons of parking, more closer by than there is at the beach.

I'd rather a new build on Kings Links but a Pittodrie rebuild would do.

I'm sure the golfers & golf clubs are delighted that you're happy for the links to be ploughed up. Very considerate of you.
  2. The petulant and bratty attitude on show here leads me to firmly believe that this is exactly the same idiot who runs the No Kingsford facebook page. That places makes North Korea seem tolerant. Anyone who wasn't foaming at the mouth about how the proposal wasn't in keeping with the surrounding area was banned and their comments deleted. Again they've been their own worst enemy from the outset.

    Fools.

    Aye, Charlie Love.

  3.

As a footnote - you are all aware that ACC have 'offered' Aberdeen FC land for training ground purposes? ACC have offered the club land for a new stadium within the city but that the club have declined it in order to push these plans?

Not aware at all no, do enlighten us please?
  4.   As for George Yule, opportunity knocks my friend - P45.

    ;D

You know, I was reading your comment, giving you the benefit of the doubt re: being a Dons fan, and then you sign off with this pish.

George Yule has transformed how the Dons have operated since coming on board, without doubt our modern day Chris Anderson. You're no Dons fan, you're one of the NIMBYs - 100%

  5.

As for whether or not it is in the shire, it isn't, but it's a hair's breadth. One thing for certain is that it absolutely isn't in Aberdeen. To answer Jute's question, there isn't another club in the UK that plays as far from the location from which they claim to be playing for.

Well it absolutely is within Aberdeen, because it's not in the shire.

    How about Bolton?

  6. Aye sorry I probably didn't put the transport links bit very well, pittodrie is easy to get to, not denying that at all but the traffic in general after the game is a nightmare. Any decent size crowd and king street etc is gridlocked for a significant period of time.

    Absolutely this.

I think the fact that pre-match traffic flows so well just kills any objection to Kingsford where access will be so much better.

  7. Genuine question, as I don't know, but what makes you think they would? What have the Scottish government done to try and help Aberdeen in this time of crisis? I've always been of the opinion that the Scottish government has been central belt centric and I wouldn't expect that to change. The infrastructure north of it is woeful at best. I would have thought any scottish government would have the power to control this sort of thing? As I said, not attacking more enquiring.

    AWPR

    City Deal

There's two massive ones for starters that Willie Young won't admit to when bleating about central belt bias! Funny thing is, there was central belt bias, during the days when Labour were Scotland's foremost party, now the claim is laughable.

  8. just make it easier and stop supporting this weggie national team.

International fitba > than club fitba, always, forever, as long as this auld bastard has lived.

Ken fit, that's all changed, Strachan has totally fucked it, I actually dont give a fuck anymore, his baffling squads, selections and tactics, his utter disregard for the paying public ("oh no no, I'm not taking questions from fans, have you heard them on Radio Clyde every week>"), Regan's failure to sack him after the appalling failure of the last campaign, until he's done, I'm done. I actually didnt even get ecited about the guff game, such was my apathy.

The worst Scotland manager ever, bar none.

  9. Independence for Grampian is the way ( but within the EU)

It's been my dream, although I always realised it would not be in my lifetime.

Scotland within Europe was a real possibility though, but the bastardin Scots were too fuckin cowardly.

    Independence for Garlogie!!

We've got nae broadband, a pub that's more of a restaurant, a 40mph speed limit despite only having hooses along one side of the village, nae mobile signal, nae shops, and a village hall.

Dinna be gi'en me ony o' yer better igither shite, freedom for Logie!!!!

  10. Brussels, Westminster, Edinburgh. Doesn't matter who it is they'll do nothing but take from us.

Independence for Grampian is the only way.

Although I'm being slightly tongue in cheek, independence for Scotland way well lead to the break up of Scotland. Orkney & Shetland where the real money in O&G is do not trust the Scottish Parliament.

While if they wanted it, that's up to them, latest poll for Shetland independence was in single digits. It's never happening.

  11. Sorry for the divergence, but I think this needs removing from the politics thread.

Sturgeon has totally outplayed May, to such an extent the whole Article 50 announcement is now off the table this week. It appears 'our' PM really didn't think Nicola would put country before career, or at least risk it.

That's the trouble with most Tories, they think everyone is as grasping and unprincipled as they are, and plan accordingly.

Now Leanne Wood and Michelle O'Neill have followed suit with demands for electoral questions to be on the table.

It's over for the British Empire.

    #scotref

  12. What to say about that?

Motherwell, ye time wasting, hoofing cunts, ye got what ye deserved.

Kenny McLean, just a wow performance, his crossfield passing is incredible, as is his workrate, I'm absolutely sure that that stubby ginger cunt still wont even call him into his next squad, I think such snubbing should now be a badge of honour for Dons players. [move]Too good to play for Scotland.[/move]

    Rooney, hopeless.

Stockley, more impressed with him with every outing, but he needs to get into more goalscoring positions.

McGinn & Hayes, excellent work rate and effort throughout, well played lads.

RDS crowd - a big well done for the round of applause for PeePaw when he was warming up. Not many players get their own song, especially one who was always a bit player, but in his own way he'll go down as a legend. Good luck son, you always tried.

Ref: FFS, 5 mins injury time after 6 subs, all that time wasting, and injuries on the field??? No wonder teams time waste when you let them off like that

Samson: hahahhahaha, feck aff ye cunt.He did not like it up 'im when we scored. timewasting cunt

  13. Meaningless sport as far as national pride goes. Most of thae chunts belting out "flower of scotland" voted NO, they can feck aff and fecking feck aff to somewhere their ironic hypocrisy is appreciated, like a masonic lodge or a british legion.

    :spaz:

  14. The particular NE trait here is honesty and integrity.

We aren't comfortable pretending to be nice to people we don't like. It's false, it's dishonest of us and it grates the soul.

Aye this, this I find very difficult to do/hide. When I don't like someone they generally know. And then they think I'm a cunt  :dunno:
  15. "Good morning" "Good morning" "Good morning"

Feck aff. I want to come in, sit doon, and slump behind my monitor and get on with shit, and not get involved in this socially awkward meaningless morning ritual.  >:(
