  1. A couple of Indian experiences recently.

The place in Echt is outstanding. We popped in on the way back from Aviemore and it's superb.

absolutely is, surprised you got a seat, usually impossible without booking.

For insular toonsers, same guy has opened up Wild Ginger at the top of Union Street. It's at least as good

  2. You seem determined for conflict. That's a statement in itself.

    No it isn't

I've never been on Facebook but this doesn't mean I'm blind to what appears there. I've never followed anyone on Twitter (apart from the original banksy account, now defunct) but this similarly doesn't mean I'm oblivious to what's posted there.
It kinda by definition states you are

You and I have different ways of doing things, of gathering information, different values and different conclusions. That's ok. It's good that there is variety in life. If I ever thought, felt, breathed and existed like you however, I would want to kill myself.

I'm sorry, have you considered Dignitas?
  3. You're confused. Having sex and making love can be two separate things. Receiving good news is a totally different thing altogether. The fucking idiot who sees good news as a foundation for orgasms is a VERY twisted and confused individual.

What TLG clearly meant, is that this good news would have your testosterone and maybe adrenaline levels  rising, in such a way that you may have been inclined to give your missus a good rooting, what kowalski then  opined was that it was more likely that some cuckolder may have been more likely to do that.
  4. I didn't say that I don't source from social media. I get stuff from it every day.

The difference is how we access it, how we process it and what we do with it.

    :dunno:

Personally I've never been on Facebook in my puff and I don't "follow" anyone on Twitter.

If you've never been on facebook, that's way more than 50% of social media gone right off, if you don't "follow" anyone on twitter, then all you'll have on your timeline without searching for specific items is what is "trending", so you're being fed a trend obviously, a follower, a sheep, an uncritical thinker by definition and by your own design.

Kinda the opposite of how I imagined you to be, from your own frequent boasting.

  5. Nah, people who make assumptions generally overestimate the abilities of others to be as intelligent and conscientious as themselves, and I apologise for making that mistake, as the saying goes, it makes an ass out of *you* and me..

What surprises me is that you're not on twitter or Facebook, it's literally where knowledge is shared nowadays in huge volumes, anyone with the critical skills that you claim would soon filter the wheat from the chaff, indeed as I do, whereas you seem to have no areas of learning, just opinions based on your own verbosity

  6. Exactly what I was thinking. Granite-heided lazy thick cunt.

There was talk about it earlier this decade. Put simply it's this

sorry, I'd kinda assumed someone speaking with so much authority on politics would be following these people themselves already? I was and am on my phone, where copying links to facebook and twitter is a pain in the arse so didn't do it.. That OK ye arse?
  7. What a load of shite that farce was last night. If it wasn't already clear, Bojo is going to hammer the Brexit/SNP angle for all it's worth.

Jezza meanwhile is going to talk calmly, and quietly, with little authority, inspiring no confidence in anyone

Swickson is going to just dig bigger and bigger holes like her instantaneous admission she'd blow the world up last night.

Queen Nicola will continue to be the authority in the room, but aul wifies in Aberdeenshire will continue to ignore the drip on the end of their noses.

  8.

    It's ALL about the value.

I got PSG HT FT @ 4/6 tonight. I think that's brilliant value

Bookies don't make mistakes on the major teams because it's where most of their betting comes in, they'll usually be too short, the value is in the small teams where they've done little research. As you've just found. (this advice is free, next time I'll charge)

  9. Do you do it on behalf of anyone, or were you just asking for your own info? Not a surprise about deeside, they love a tory.

I am canvassing on behalf of a party yes.

My faith was somewhat restored today, but by fuck is WAK a bellweather seat. If Zowie Bowie hangs on SNP could be heading for 45 for less, if it returns to SNP it could well hit the heights of 2015 again.

What is abundantly clear, the north east is now a 2 party area, and split very much by old ignorant cunts who haven't a clue about the world in the 21st century, and those who pay attention and will vote accordingly.

  10. Wrong again. I have good stuff on my walls, accumulated over many decades, mostly prints that the frames cost more than, and a couple of paintings but not modern art, which costs way more than I could afford if it's good.

where'd you get your frames, Carle's Sheds do some great stuff, worth every penny imo.
  11. Ha! I missed the original post, but i'm guessing a Shakira reference

    interesting outing there Garlogie  ;)

the original post was a drunken ramble

No outing with Shakira though, I think she's done some excellent stuff, I have a very eclectic taste musically  :)

  12. You just got cunted. Those were Shrigley's words. You didn't recognise them. Because you'd seen a postcard or a print by him and thought you were an expert. Like you are on abstract expressionism.

I was reading his book today, now it could be that the above quote was in that book, or it could not, but you'll see nothing above suggesting I was an expert on him, or abstract art. I simply asked what you thought of him, being as you are, the fucking know-it-all on art, was asimple and honest question, and abstract art is utter pish that takes gullible twats like you for large sums of money.

It is amusing that his quote referred to us though.

  13. The only guarantee of the upcoming abortion is that it will be a hung parliament.

But since you work in politics, you obviously know best.

Since you have form for avoiding questions, I won't lose sleep when you further fail to back up the stupidity of your worthless opinion.

I don't work in politics you absolute melter
  14. If my skull was found by primitive peoples they would probably be amazed by it.

like a gargoyle or a gardn gnome?

If they found yours they would be unimpressed and would probably not even pick it up or they might use it to keep things in (pebbles etc.)

Yeah like a primitive pretty vase or bowl, where they put their pretty things. That's me, a pretty thing for pretty things x
  15. Think we’re heading for a hung parliament hopefully the opposition can cobble something together to oust the Tories from government.

I really don't think we are. I was out canvassing yesterday, and the number of tory v Snp utterly shocked me. Not just that but all day I got one Lib-Dem, and one lifelong Labour voter who doesn't know who he's voting for but it 100% won't be Labour.

Now Deeside is hardly representative of the whole constituemcy, nor the country, but it shocked me how out of kilter compared to current polls support for the Tories was, and indeed how absolutely nowhere the two also ran parties were

This is gonna be the most interesting GE in our lifetime.

  16. It's not a competition (between galleries). Not that you're competent to stand in judgement.

Life is a competition, everything is a competition, but at no point did i say it was a competition, I simply stated that by comparison, an already pretty badly criticised V&A is looking even poorer.

As for me not being competent, I don't think you're competent to judge on that in all honesty.  :dunno:

Shrigley is wonderful. I love all his work and have introduced him to my family who also share my enthusiasm. Why do you ask, anti-art man with a horrendous set of values?

I find him quite amusing, I just thought that someone with your lack of humour wouldn't get it. Congrats

  17. Down at the V&A today, rolled up to the current Hello Robot exhibition. What an incredible load of shit, with our own Art Gallery  now up and running, it just shows the V&A up even more. Really poor and really disappointing.

In other news, thoughts on David Shrigley rocket?
