Just vote to ban plastic pitches and send Killie down, prevent Raith come up, or whatever. We're the Dons, we don't relegate.

Suggested that to Killie supporting mate earlier but he pointed out that they are taking their plastic pitch up. Just have to hope Raith have no plans to take up theirs

Not advocating the return of McInnes but sick of hearing about the games we have in hand over others.

So the four games in hand on Killie how many of the twelve points and thirteen goal difference do we you fancy us to pick up ?

We have won 5 out of 17 so far and can’t see us managing to win all 4 games in hand unless something changes quickly. Something needs to change and whether it’s Robson changing tactics and style of play or the club changing the manager something needs to change or we are going to get dragged into a fight to avoid a relegation play off place.

  3. I suspect board will stick with Robson for a while yet as to be sacking 3 managers in 3 years is not a good look and suggests board are not very good at their job. Mind you not getting rid of him now also suggests the same.

Think Willie Miller  is wrong about goodwill for Robson as from speaking to folk any goodwill towards him went after his approach to the cup final. Mood feels very similar to the way it did after the Celtic game under Goodwin.

Already said above that I would like to see us approach Mowbray but not sure he will take it. The way Alex Neil left Sunderland doesn’t sit right with me and if it was about control then can’t see him wanting to come to us under our current set up. That said he (and Mowbray) both had Sunderland playing decent football. Murray is an interesting one. He has Raith in a great position in the league and his team play the attacking football craved by Cormack. They do however concede almost as many as they score and not sure that approach will work in the top flight.

Going outside Scotland I would go back to speak to Kjetil Knutsen at Bodo Glimt. I know he turned down an approach before but his big move to Europe/England has not materialised and maybe he would now accept coming to us as his stepping stone on to getting a bigger move.

  4. Where to begin with that. Abysmal performance against a team that had won once in 10. McGarry is shite. Whoever signed off on paying a fee for him is hopefully no longer employed by the club. Completely useless and no idea how to play football. How many times do we need to be overrun in midfield before Robson changes it. Barron has to start going forward but he won’t. Subs as usual made us worse.Robson should be gone tonight but he won’t. County could get ugly with a pissed up crowd and another bad performance.

  5. Barry in the press suggesting he expects a quiet transfer window.

Hopping he means that we are not scrambling about looking to sign ten players rather than saying he doesn’t think we need to sign anyone. Still need a replacement for Ramadani and proper back up for Devlin in my opinion.

Bit that concerns me more is him saying that punting the ball into the corners suits Miovski’s style of play. Suggests we are going to continue with the same style going forward.

  6. St Mirren are another team who are on a rotten run with only 2 wins in last 10 and only scoring 5 in that period. This is another that we should be winning comfortably at home. It will be 5 at the back with two holding mids as always. Last game before the window and probably the start of the the bids for Miovski. More rain predicted for Saturday so might be more transport issues. Going to be Saturday morning before I make a decision on heading up.

3-0 Miovski hatrick before his big money move.

  7. Right decision to call it off but now leaves us with 4 games to fit in between 19th January and 13th April. International break also takes away potential match dates. Wonder if we could get some of clubs to play in the winter break.

  8. No wins in 15 for Motherwell so this is definitely one we should be looking to win comfortably especially at home. Not going to bother saying we should switch away from the 5 at the back as we know Robson won’t. Hopefully McKenzie is ready to start as not convinced at all by McGarry. Be interesting to see if Barron is picked again or if the days off will see Shinnie back in. Out again as work ruling out mid week games for the foreseeable.
