I read in the paper this morning that JC was saying Duff had been played out of posistion at left back, which he wasn't comfortable with, and that his best position was in midfield - he invisaged him plugging the Clark shaped gap - maybe he will be a decent player in midfield. That's what I like about JC, he will look at a player, see he is being played out of position, then play him in his strongest role to get the best out of him.......

I agree wholeheartedly with what BTR and Superstar Tradesman said. If anything, having been hung out to dry (hypothetically, of course) to an extent by their manager, and four senior players, I would have thought those remaining loyal to the club would deserve our support even more in what, for many, will be the biggest occasion in their careers.

Agree that the Danes may be a better side than people think, though to be fair, that's really only based on them beating Moscow, which from having watched the brief highlights, was a game that the Russians could easily have won, and bear in mind Copo's goal came from a penalty. As for the second point, I don't know how much of that was maybe down to Madrid underestimating us/playing within themselves, combined with the fact they were on their own patch leading to complacency I suspect they will have a full team out for what will be viewed as a tough away tie, and will go about the task properly. At least I hope that's what'll happen anyway.

That must be a banning offence. I never actually realised it was this week for these games. I really hope standing in an exposed section of Pittodrie five days before Christmas is going to be meaningful......
