There are no trains out of Central (or at least to Paisley) the day of the game I believe. You'll probably have to rethink your plans to get there. Not sure what else to suggest other than bus. As far as tickets go, I don't think you'll have a problem getting one - they are on sale already anyway.

When people ask me how much Aberdeen STs are they are always quite impressed. Granted mine is a concession (last year of it though, sob) but even so people think they are really reasonable. My dad pays more for a concession (over 60) ST at ICT than I do for Pittodrie. I have no interest in EPL at all, and I don't understand why some folk would rather watch it than us (when they could go to the game of course). I was going to watch the B City game on Sunday in the pub after our game, but I was so disinterested by it I left after 15 minutes.

Interesting. They're quite optimistic down Pittodrie way just now - Cup Finals and additional Euro games!

I better make sure next season when I'm living in Aberdeen I go to every single game for fear of being labelled pathetic.

While I agree the attendance could have been better, bear in mind a lot of fans outwith Aberdeen probably won't have gone up. There was no GUASC there - getting back the day before from Madrid then to spend the whole day travelling up is quite a big ask. It was always going to be a poor attendance after Thursday being arguably our biggest game of the season, and in Spain. I'd be more worried if games like Inverness on 2nd January and Kilmarnock on Saturday don't have better attendances. But not to worry though, we'll have 18k+ when Rangers come...

That'll be about as successful as our football tournament then.
