  1. The planning application for the new stadium (which has been granted) makes no mention of requiring shared access or parking from any other development. Infact, AFC had agreed to fund a controlled parking zone around the area (30min walk "distance")to prevent fans parking outwith the stadium development site. There are two access roads into the site. The one from Wellington road and the one off the roundabout at the back of makro. The junction with Wellington road will obviously take some development however this is the opposite side of the stadium site to the Calder park proposal and is clearly not dependant on that proposal. The second access from the roundabout behind makro already exists up to the site boundary. It's currently blocked off with some large containers. The Calder Park proposal provides no further access in/out of the combined development sites.
  2. Council have voted against Calder Park.
  3. A no to this kills off the stadium we've been planning for how many years because of a shared access road? GTF. Milne knows this is going to be voted against and is using it to cover up his failure to secure funding for the stadium.
  4. Would take the money in a second. Which is about 10 seconds quicker than he can release a pass once it's available. Slows play down a lot and usually misses the opportunity to play someone through. Always wants a fee more seconds on the ball and for some reason a lot of people mistake that for composure or some shite.
  5. Wasn't paying football debts a condition of transferring oldcos SFA membership? Why were they granted membership before these were paid?
  6. Was pissed of when I saw langfield was starting. Was pretty happy h ing heard we seemed to fight hard but were unlucky, but am furious now I've seen the goal. He's a fucking joke.
  7. Apparently the new tv deal represents only a 10% reduction in income for most clubs. Saw an article from a St Johnstone fan breaking it down an they will be the same financially (taking into account tv deal and no home games v Huns) if they were to finish 1 place higher and get around 300 extra fans per home game.
  8. In/Oot: Oot Prematcher: Driving down to Edinburgh Match: Might see if I can catch some of it in a pub Postmatcher: Stuff in Edinburgh then driving back up the road. Prediction: 3-0 Celtic
  9. I still think the club should have used the Man Utd game to boost the figures for County. Should have been first priority (for Man U tickets) for ST holders, then people who had a Ross County ticket before going to general sale.
  10. Will be more interesting to see the figures. Since they have not been released they are either really low or haven't reduced very much at all. I take it ESPN still have their matches over and above this 30 Sky have?
  11. Renewed today. Thought I was in with a chance of the 6500th when i checked it at lunchtime but it hit 6500 just as I was leaving to go down Had to choose another seat for the Ross County game. Was very few seats in the RDL left for it which is promising.
  12. There should just be a huge banner with: YOU ARE NEXT
  13. They want a full house for the opening of their "new" stadium.
  14. They will have agreed to move the red tape over a few rows. Whether they actually will do it is another question. In the past I've had a ticket for a seat which was taped off in the segregated section.
  15. We should be at least in the race for 2nd going into the last few months of the season. Really can't see where any other SPL side has strengthened while if we avoid injury problems we will do much better.
  16. Being reported by journos on twitter that it's a 12.45 kick off
  17. That's fantastic news if Hughes is out of contract in Jan. I was under the impression he signed a 3 year deal when he came. He can get to fuck in Jan then - horrible player.
  18. If they want to transfer the SFA membership then they are the same club. If they want new SFA membership they need 3 years of accounts.
  19. Huns have rolled on every issue. EBT investigation/punishments to come, TV package agreed between SPL and SFL, 12 month signing ban etc. Temp membership allows them to play this weekend with next Friday the deadline for all the legal formalities to be dealt with before allowing them full membership.
  20. Best place for new/repairing tyres?
  21. Free or just to their "redtv" equivalent subscribers?
