  1. He'll obviously have to drop his pay demands. Peterborough's highest paid player would also be our highest paid player.

Do we really want him though? From what i've read, he's a donkey. We've already got plenty of them at the club.

  2. De Beib? (The Judge) at the back of the peace palace)

    Zwarte Ruiter,

Het Brau Cafe? at Scheveningen Harbour (micro brewery),

Got fucked off with ex-pat twats at O-didleys (or whatever) on Noordeinde

Not been on many nights out - prefer afternoons.

No chance of us playing an eredivisie team  :(

Good choice, that square is phenomenal for talent during the summer!  I take it you're refering to O'casey's, alright pub, but yeah, get what you mean. Fair few dons fans in there too, well 3. If you head over for July again this year, the Scheveningen beach is where its at! North beach, clubs/bars/girls as far as the eye can see. Oh how i'm looking forward to the summer  8)

  3. The 2 previous Holland trips AFC always stayed in Delden but played all over the place so wouldn't book that area for accommodation just yet and would wait for fixtures to come out first.  We ended up staying down south in Arnhem, Mastricht and Zwolle and up north in Amsterdam for those pre-seasons which was great central bases for getting to places we were playing.

Just hope they don't arrange a "friendly" with Ado, that would be fun  ::) Though they have a nice wee ground. We really do play in some random places in Holland. Maastricht is a beutiful place eh! I think one of the most underated Dutch cities. I suppose these games will be happening during July?

  4. Jager, you're forgetting Deventer and F-side Hoolies too ;) I remember the last time we played Utrecht, the amount of abuse we got because we lost to that amateur team  :-[

Edit: I just seen where Delden is, at least its not in the outback, close to Enschede and Apeldoorn. Don't think you can get intl flights to Enschede, but it'll be about and hour or two depending on the train from Amsterdam I think.

  5. Just aboot every cunt does though

    Need I mention Budgie >:(

But the fact we were the only (or one of, can't say I remember him scoring many anyway) makes it impossible for me to laugh at him, despite the absolute homoeroticness of his website.  :-[

  6. He gifted Hibs their goal on Saturday, it's not really the end of the world. Put Seve in defence and let Walker play for a change.

Thats not gonna happen. A few people say Seve actually had a good game last week. Unsurprising since it was Hibs but maybe give him the benefit of doubt in midfield. I don't think he (JC) will play Walker either :( I thought Zander had a terrible game against Celtic so I agree maybe it isn't the biggest loss at the moment but a CB is defo a priority this summer! Still, i'm quite excited once again and counting down the days till Saturday once again!

  7. Ken fit ye're saying, I was there as well, and no one was raging more than me, believe me mate, BUT we need to move on. Should everyone involved that day be punted ?

  It hurts, but we have to move on, no point dwelling on the past, though its what we do best though eh? ;) It was a terrible result, but not the worst, its not like we got horsed, just unlucky and carelessness  :hammer:. It happens to us a lot but thats life. It made easier for me by just realising this and that its not the end of the world, had that have happened in the final, I would have been even more gutted. All that matters now is trying to finish strongly, and I think the players want this too. They owe us and they know it.

  8. Although it's splitting hairs I think both their games in hand are against Rangers, the Celtic fixture is a normal top 6 fixture.

Whichever way its cooked, they still have a very difficult run in and I think they might be the club with the least momentum behind them at the moment. Bottom line is that we have 2 fixtures we have to take care of. Get through them with 6 points and we give ourselves a fantastic crack at it, with the huns already champions we should be comfortable in that game.

    :clap::AFC::thumbsup: Come on you Reds!

  9. I still think we need to keep Miller and still maintain, get someone who knows how to play football alongside him and we'd reap the rewards of it.

re Pavol Masaryk, AFC have already stated they are not naming names, could have been any number of players in either team he was watching. If he was after ihim, not bad going after a league's 3rd top scorer. :Jimmypullitoutofthebagsmilie:

Edit: BigAl, you beat me to it!

  10. If you wanted to be an arse about it though, you could say, the weather was fantastic, so that can't be used as an excuse, the team were highly unlucky against the green shites last week, and you knew that the team would have something to prove. I know a lot of people were still pissed off from two weeks back, and rightly so, but it doesn't help one bit. Also, I would agree with JC (ok I need to lie down now), usually, the Hibs games are quite entertaining. So there asn't really much of a reason for such a low turnout.

As I said, we still have the potential courtesy of a minor miracle to finish third. Its typical Aberdeen to leave it to the last moment, but I'm quite confident, if results keep going our way, we'll be there

Maybe its cos the sun has been shining a lot this week, but I feel a lot more optimistic.
