"Let's face it though, he will probably be playing for East Fife and working in Asda in three years.
"It's what you'd expect from an Aberdeen player. Their problem has always been that they are more obsessed with us than they are with themselves."
Probably not too far off the mark. Pisses me off he can get away with saying something like that in a "national" paper. I bet they enjoyed typing every letter of that. Cunts. Can hardly been seen as a threat either. Stupid, yes, childish, yes, which is exactly how Maguire behaves. We all know this, he is not ready for the first team.

Totally agree with you. Have always said, I think we'd struggle to find someone better within our price range. He is also showing guts for the cause which is more than can be said about some others
-
Its pointless. Yes it was a stupid thing to do, but did he act like that guy did at Celtic park? NO! We all understand why they did it and it happens. Why is it acceptable in other sports, but not this? Its a joke.
Re: the simmy song, heard that on tv. But was glad the commentators didn't hear it!

Said the exact same thing before the game. WHAT the hell were they doing being all chummy with traitor smith and mccoist! Not what I wanted to see before a game against arguably our most hated rivals. Post match was just as sickening. My mates (English) were astounded a) they coudln't understand a word he was saying, then when I translated it b ) were shocked that he was arse licking so much.
Then, I had to buy the Daily Retard today because I couldn't believe what I was reading. Seve defending that neandethal Mcculloch?!? What the hell is going on. They were lucky not to have 3 players sent off yesterday and I'm quite tempted to write to the SFA to complain about Fergahun. If he's supposed to be a role model for kids, does that mean I can go up to him in the street and strangle him, because I saw him do it so its ok?!!? Christ sake. This has made my blood boil.

Have to say, I made comments throughout the game how shite the atmosphere was at pittodrie today. Surely they don't make THAT much difference do they?!?! It was terribly flat. All I could hear was the huns sing. Bear in mind though, I was watching it on tv.

Thanks to those cunts tho we are now 7th. But i'm over that again. HA HA.
-
Whoopie. To be honest though, i'm surprised we've gotten this far with it. Who knows where its going to go from here though. Councilors are weird folk.
-
Zander for me, but would have Nicholson as vice captain. And no way would I want Pressley at our club. He's been Rubbish for Celtic and is only getting worse. Restrict him to the visiting busses only!
-
Needlessly changed the team and paid for it. Diamond coming back just needed a straight swap with him in for Mair. Dropping Foster , moving Byrne wide and also putting Touzani back in defence when he's been outstanding in midfield is why Jimmy, however far he gets us in europe or the cups, will never be accepted by a lot of fans.
Can't agree with that more. He made non-sensical and unnecessary changes. Probably to match Motherwells game plan. Fool.

Nothing wrong with Alness! That aside, I think JC will sign a new contract anyway.
-
Well done Aberdeen-mad. Glad he's on the mend and getting in some games! He'll be needing some new socks this winter an all, its freezing!

I see Dundee United are embracing the new influx of Polish families. I know its been chatted about before, but I think its something AFC should look into. Would certainly help create a new fan base as well.
-
I don't think its been too bad so far. To quote a famous dutch electrical company, its getting better. If we get 6 points in the next two games i'll be satisfied, as it will mean we'll be at least 3 points closer to well, whether that be 3rd or 4th.
-
TO be fair to miller, it was actually behind him, but if he'd have swung a milli second later he'd have caught it. Had a decent game overall. I can honestly say i'm proud, we went down fighting (clark, young and probably seve aside).
-
Looks like it doesn't it! As i said, i'm not happy.
-
Right, from my memory, this is apparently how the herald thinks we're going to line up:
Langfield,
Diamond, Macnamamarrararara, Considine
Hart, Nicholson, severin, clark, Byrne,
Young,
Miller
Not too happy about this alleged cull of the players who haven't performed in the previous two games...

Look what happened when the second string played against Dungdee Utd at home?
I say get them in on Thursday. We're highly unlikely to take anything from the game anyway, so lets play the so-called fringe players and rest the under performing "big names".
I totally agree with this, we might as well get the best out of the whole experience. But our tube of a manager will not do this. Twat.

I was thinking the exact same thing during the game. I got the impression during the build up that that's what he was thinking. He claims the board needs to match his ambition...well, how about being positive in a game? Doing well with what you've got and shock horror, you might actually get some more money. Patience is running out with him especially since he's not forced to field a team he does due to injuries. It is totally unfair to the players that gave our best performance of the season against Dundee utd and unsurprisingly we've struggled since. Get Touzani in, he's on a two yr contract ffs, JDV clearly has the balls to put decent crosses in and knows how to keep the ball. We have the team to do something more than what we're doing. Jimmy, you are underselling and misusing you're current team. Sort it out.

Watched it in a pub on the east end, what an embarasment. Total farce.
-
I think the two can co-exist with each other, as much as I hate rugby and most people associated with it. I would have thought it might give the council some more impetus to actually go ahead with the scheme. Long term wise, I don't see how rugby can exist in the NE, but if it gets us our stadium, i'll be happy. It clearly can be done, Wigan, Man utd, Murrayfield all do it!

Injury Update
in Aberdeen Football Club
Posted
P&J reported today that Touzani has been playing with an open wound since he had to have the stitches removed from his goalpost injury. Makes sense as to why he's probably been a bit off pace. He also said he wanted to play on because its his first run in the team.
I like the idea he's willing to do this, but I don't know if its good for the team if he plays as below par as he has been since the injury.
