I don't think we've had a decent loan signing since Di Rocco. But still, they freshen up the squad, possibly put people on their toes (current team aside as nothing seems to be able to do that).

Exactly, as far as i'm concerned the cup means nothing unless we're involved in it. Who cares who wins it, I hate both teams.

My one hope with whole scenario is that people realise that all is not well in the Pittodrie dressing room.

 

Its an old boys club at the moment with players being continually selected even if their performances do not merit it.

It is a sad state of affairs.

Just a thought, but could his poor form be due to the fact he hasn't got his future sorted? I mean, it seemed like running up to christmas he was in form, then throughout january he's be pish. Not exactly the best way to put yourself in the shop window is it. Just a thought mind.

Just pisses me off since I actually spent time to structure it and enforce the idea I wasn't attacking the club?!? Just giving them some ideas. Typical of how our club is run from top to bottom really.

The problem with that is that the board think that sticking a few press statements out to the EE slating the fans for not turning up is the way to get bums on seats.

 

If they were concerned at all with what the fans want then they'd at least bother to ask them.

I actually sent an email a while back to the club with regard to their attempts to entice people back to Pittodrie. I never received a reply.

I disagree that Thursday night will be the defining point of some players careers. It is a glamour tie, but last Tuesday was that moment to grab the limelight and a possibility of silverware. We're going to get humped by Bayern, but i'm not bothered because with their international quality, they should do. It's time for the players to stand up and be counted. We are underachieving massively this season, and its actually pathetic. The sooner we're out of the UEFA cup the better. Maybe then they'll smell the roses and start performing.

Calderwood isn't a celebrity, his ego is 

Words cannot explain how I feel this morning. I just feel bad for everyone that went along to it, and even worse for the ones who stayed till the end!

As i've mentioned elsewhere, i'll now be looking forward to my refund as I couldn't make it tonight! (thank fuck for that eh!) I was not surprised to hear that people were streaming out so early. Calderwood goes on about letting the fans down, why does he keep saying this and not doing anything logical about it?!? Its a farce. I'm going to enjoy the Bayern game and that will be me for the season I think. I know a few people are saying the same as you BB. The club needs to realise that this is the sole reason why the fans are leaving the club. Its patently obvious to everyone bar the club.

The fact that people are now appearing to notice that we are missing Chris Clark speaks volumes for the amount of pish spoken on messageboards.

Was thinking the exact same. However i'm not going to turn around and saw I told you so. I really didn't think that much of him. Does that also mean Calderwood knows a) what he's doing and b) what he's saying? 

Do we miss Hart too? Or is it that we are now only starting to see what Clark added to the team? 

No need to worry about this anymore! Was tempted to fly over from Holland for the day if we made it...

The weirdest thing is, I feel more sick from this performance than I do at the sight of seeing a stream of blood in Glasgow tonight. Something at the club needs to be sorted out because we haven't actually played football in weeks, probaby months. I feel bad for the people that go week in week out and have to put up with tripe like that. It would be fine if we were winning, but we are not. Extra training sessions, settled team and a cold bath for Jimmy.

Funny thing was, on the way home again, I was thinking, what would have happened if we'd have made a cheeky bid for Zchamultulski, hell we could have affored his wage. But I thought, no, Langfield deserves his place. He has been immense for us at times, but even bigger clubs drop/sell their number ones. I'm starting to wish we had.

If it is cancelled. when will they play it?
