  1. My thoughts exactly!
  2. I think he was joking Also, I'm sure most Dons fans wouldn't begrudge Mackie his testimonial, as afterall he is one of us and under JC has scored some critical and enjoyable goals. Yes we know he is pish and should be better, but fair play to him, he must do something right in the team to warrant being at the club for so long.
  3. I agree, Mackie and Foster should have been no-where near the starting line up today, however, do you think maybe, just maybe, JC thought he would give them a chance to correct their wrong doings by putting in a good performance? Granted, neither of them did, but just a thought like. I was raging as the next to see them still on the team sheet but this is what I expect from JC. Confusion. Or, unpredictable pre game "excitement" (I use the word very loosely), in that you actually never know (or in this always know) who is going to be on the team sheet. As BB said on the other thread, it would be highly typical of JC tenure, for us to actually get a result and our man "Dazza" to score the winner.
  4. See that would be fine, providing we actually turned up. But from what i've read/heard, we didn't and it isn't the first time. We ALWAYS follow up good results with some ridiculous ones like today and Hamilton. Teams we should beat with very little trouble, but we don't. I think its more frustration than anything else because we know we're so close to third and yet the players/management just don't seem to be able to achieve it logically! I mean, how else are we ever going to fulfil my recent dream of us beating Celtic on the final day to win the league?!?!?
  5. Aye I think we take the biscuit on that one! Despite how shite shity are Just had a read of KKK, was quite amusing as ever, however, as one poster said, there is actually a silver lining to this defeat, we're better off than we were at the start of the day. I didn't believe it to begin with, but he's correct. Jutes and Yams lost by two, we only lost by one.....
  6. God this result is just so typically Aberdeen. We have an opportunity to do something and go third what with both Arabs and Farts losing today, and we blow it. Too much paper talk again, I suppose the warning signs were there. But we will bounce back and have a successful February, I'm sure of it... Odd Month January has been. The easiest two games we lost and won/drew the hardest ones.
  7. having to rely on sportsound open all mics but it doesn't sounds like an enthralling game! Apparently over 1400 Dandies there!
  8. They truly are untouchable! That is absolutely ridiculous! Words could not describe how poor Mackie and Foster were last week.
  9. Killie one up against St. Midden in their new stadium, Kevin Kyle score on his debut!
  10. I noticed for his prediction on the HIV-SS game he stated that there will be lots of goals in this game...score? 1-1
  11. :fingerscrossedsmilie: ! I'm a bit nervous about this today. Will this game be streamed today or is it just being replayed in full on BBC alba?
  12. Reluctantly.... Chesney Hawkes - I am the one and only
  13. It is a shame, but who's to say the club didn't contact his agent and see if he was interested? I know its unlikely, but its a thought.
  14. From what I remember I thought Kerr played well! So he gets my vote
  15. I do agree with you. But if we're going to push for second, might as well go for the league What a few more points
  16. Was going to mention him too but I thought because we hadn't seen Vidal play in his natural position yet that I couldn't comment. But Foster is NOT the answer, and that is for sure! I quite like Duff as a player, but he is most certainly a squad player and does his job fine.
  17. I would also add Heikkenen to that list. Nicholson was a completely different player to him but we have replaced him with a younger and potentially better player. I think we have had adequate replacements for most of the team that has been lost.
  18. I agree with that. Just seems we seem to go in circles every season, take one step forward and two steps back when these key players leave and are not suitably replaced (immediately).
  19. As rubbish as a player he is, he works his socks off for the team and has scored some very important goals. I think pre-season against a big team would make sense and i'd certainly go.
  20. Good read that! Love the bit about Jamie Smith and Deek!
  21. I like your optimism But I would have thought the fact he even made appearances for the city first XI would mean he's out of our price range. But as you said, you don't ask, you don't get. I'm sure Jimmy has a few players up his sleave. Oh and P.S. It wasn't directed at you, just an open ended question, because obviously I couldn't put
  22. As much as I have slated Seve in the past and found him truly annoying in the past few seasons with apparent lack of care or respect for AFC, he has come back into a bit of a game this season. I don't find it a coincidence that the team has been playing well with him either. But I do think we'll be able to replace him, its just whether or not the team around the replacement gell with the team. I genuinely feel that our team has come leaps and bounds this season and there is real progress within the side. It will be a same to see if all take a step back again. But who knows, maybe the change will be good ? ? ?
  23. was quite random that!
