  1. Indeed, I did wonder if the board were taking the most sensible option financially and also to test the water with regards to JC. As I've said in other posts, the jury is not so much out on Smith. So far he's not earnt a penny of his new deal. I know he's still coming back from injury, but he's not doing much for the team at all. Seve, he's done ok in defence, but I don't think he's the answer to our defence. We really need Zander and Consi to step up to the plate together.
  2. So you can rest easy tonight eh Ajja
  3. Its something along those lines.
  4. Liverpool have done well to get this far in all competitions
  5. What a game, and I only caught the 2nd half. That was absolutely nuts.
  6. Fuuuuuuuuuccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkk 3-4
  7. 4-2 is a very good shout now! Ooft 3-3
  8. Not a bad shout, who scored for the scums?
  9. What the fuck, I went to drop something off at the neighbours, and miss 2 Southern Hun goals. What the hell is going on?!?
  10. Very true, but I try not to get too optimistic for these affairs, because as I said, Aberdeen invairably bite you in the arse when you are!
  11. But he tore a former and current Scotland cap a new arsehole...and also got praise from Nevin for putting the best central forward display from a scottish player all season.... (dig at him and not you! ) No I agree, I don't think we will get much out of the Parkhead game, but we'll see. We all know, that when you expect something from Aberdeen, they do the opposite.
  12. I'm not asking him to be a miracle worker. I just don't really think that we need him at the club.
  13. I thought the reserves were scrapped? Or is that as of the following season. I still think he's a waste of space though.
  14. I'm sensing a trend in you post there baggy
  15. Carl Cox's Essential Mix. Good tunage, but mixing is slightly dodgy in parts!
  16. I've had another thought about this. I actually think it all depends on how this saturday goes. If we win, we need to continue and be resolute, but if we lose and the arabs win, we need to go all guns blazing. We would have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
  17. Completely agree. Its not that the strikers aren't getting the chances, they are (albeit not hundreds of chances), but there have been many times this season where they just don't pull the trigger (or more often than not just waste it). This is something that needs to be addressed. I think our only hope is Maguire takes confidence from his goals in Scotland and a for AFC and starts to push on. Mackie and Wright are not the answers.
  18. But he'd have shite service etc...never get 30 Seriously though, I personally think that this is the biggest amount of pish I've heard that cunt (Sandy Clark) come out with. Really is trying to justify his job here.
  19. Agree yourself and BB, you need to aim high. I actually thought about this myself, and I actually think that surely we've been craving for attacking football, that its worth a shot. We've shown we can do it, I mean we played Celtic off the park, we should in theory be able to do it to anyone, if we just show a bit of endeavor and confidence. Its the old, if you don't try, you won't succeed scenario.
  20. Can't say a word against that! I think that could be one of the problems within the SPL as a whole though, not many teams if any, are willing to take risks on the pitch, hence the negative football. I agree, had we won one of those games, we would be in a far stronger position. But football is a funny old game. The problem is, and I worry about this, is that Jimmy will not want us to lose 4th spot, so will be quite restrained
  21. Thought the same thing. Good work Dave_min Slovenia is a nice country. Outside the Euro too is it not?
  22. Thanks, I'm still pretending that I'm doing mine (goes away to make a cup of tea )
  23. I think you would still have just as much of a chance of meeting a big team once you'd got through the first qualifier? At the end of the day though, I think I would still prefer to finish third, and just play the two legged qualifier. Our players would have more time to rest, and should we actually (hopefully!) get some new players in, they will have that little bit more time to settle. It'd be far more embarassing going out to some numpty team from uzbekistan than say a bigger club in the final round of qualifiers.
  24. LOLZZ!!!111!!! +1
  25. I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but Sandy Clark is in the EE this morning saying that the strikers have done well this season Don't really think thats true at all, apart from Miller, who obviously has won a cap, but even still, our strikers do not score enough goals. Can't see them scoring 7 in the next 6 games.
