Watching crimson tide, I'd forgotten how good it was
  2. There are rules in war, just not modern warfare as we know it. The Taliban / Muslim terrorists have completely changed the game. Just because they would and have probably done the same if not worse doesn't mean you have to sink to their level. The dead should be respected, no matter who they are.

  4. Whilst i disagree with the fact they have done this (out of order by any stretch of the imagination), the reporter is surely factually incorrect by saying it goes against the code of war? Do both parties not need to sign up for this to be in force? And I can't say that guerilla tactics or whatever the fuck the Taliban are using are part of the Geneva convention. It's morally wrong, but rules of war are not in play here.
  5. Phew, bye bye dunfermline!
  6. According to original 106, Anderson is close to signing a deal.
  7. Pretty impressive: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/winter_sports/16440984.stm
  8. Just to jog Tyrant's memory, BBC have the highlights from the 5-0 up http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/16514781.stm
  9. You could tell City had no leadership at the back without Kompany and completely agree, Savic looked like a bombscare! Didn't he cost them a fair bit of money?
  10. Aye cos that would be a brilliant idea...
  11. Agreed! What a refreshing thing to read
  12. it was good cover from Reina. Certainly a better second half anyway.
  13. Not quite how id describe it Liverpool playing some good football but city haven't turned up. Look completely lost without kompany / Silva / toure.
  14. Aye, but i'd never seen the actual fire work display, pretty impressive.
  15. Burj Khalifa. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/8440435.stm Some opening ceremony despite the fact that Dubai has fuck all money! Can't say it appeals to me but interesting nonetheless.
  16. I love how they say offered these days! Still, GIRFUY houston

When I wrote that i knew someone would bring that into the equation And I wholeheartedly agree, that has no place in football either!

    Suarez

Right enough, he was the only one shouting "black bastard" or whatever it was. As i said I hope what Kow is saying isn't true, because it's not what football in the UK needs.
  19. Nice interview with him on RedWeb (Crespo that is).
  20. In/Oot: Out Pre-matcher: Pub Match: Pub Post-matcher: Mates birthday Prediction: 2-1 Attendance: 9320
  21. God, it's quite obvious what they were chanting about, and it wasn't the local population. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.
  22. It costs a fortune. Basing my knowledge from when Holland joined the Euro, all the prices had to be changed and it cost businesses and more importantly people a lot of money. Same happened to Estonia last January and it pissed a lot of people off. Joining the Euro is not an option, it's only going to get worse imo. But I agree, if you're going to have independence, you have to go the whole hog and change the currency or the govt will be at the mercy of the Bank of England.
  23. Great news! Glad to see them signing up. Hopefully Considine can build on his better performances this season and Vernon keeps on doing what he does best, scoring
  24. That not always the case when a new currency is started? All has to do with market confidence etc does it not? I'm not professing to know what i'm talking about, merely saying what i've seen Certainly with the Euro, it took time for it build value in the markets.
  25. If true, it would be a boost!
