  1. Apparently we beat Doncaster 2-0 in the game behind closed doors today. Rooney and Maynard with the goals, Maynards apparently was pretty special Also, Storey played out on the wing, is this where he's been playing pre-season? Impressed according to the guy who was there and had a decent cross on him. Have we had a winger in our squad without even realising it?
  2. How did Thomas break his collarbone? Big fall? Shame he's out of the rest of the tour, good rider.
  3. Some of the climbs they have to do sound spectacular
  4. Just saw the highlights, what a finish!
  5. Aye, I noticed it's also Agent Kevin who was reporting it on twitter, who is notorious for chatting shite.
  6. May deal officially dead it would seem:
  7. Aberdeen XI currently 2-1 down to Brora. Apparently the first team have a bounce game against Doncaster in St. Andrews today
  8. Nice to see him finish it with one last game for the Dons. I am glad we didn't sign him up, probably sounds like it wouldn't have mattered anyway, but it wasn't right. Have very fond memories of his time with us and was one of my favourite players growing up. Enjoy a well earned break Super Kev, not many folk are silver foxes by 23!
  9. Bit of chatter about Williamson now too, ex newcastle defender. Seems to be a bit of confussion whether the bid was £250k or £400k for Moult. Wouldn't want to go much higher than that although it might be the difference for Motherwell to staying in the league or not.
  10. I see the sun is reporting we've had an increased bid of £400k for moult rejected.
  11. Saw Damien marley at Somerset house tonight. Absolutely brilliant. Decent crowd as well, not full of knobheads for a change. Find myself getting less tolerant of self righteous idiots at gigs that don't seem to have the understanding of gig etiquette . This had none that I could see anyway.
  12. Looking forward to watching the highlights an tomorrow!

It's hard to see a clear winner, but I can't see past Federer...despite his mediocre performance yesterday.
  14. Aye, just seems odd to me. If it was being quote as being £500k in the first place, they're not going to accept £250k. I think I would prefer Moult to May if i'm honest. Bar one season, May has done fuck all. Then this calls into question why Maynard was brought in.

Nadal seems to be well and truly back. Some phenomenally powerful shots he's pulling off against Khachanov right now.
  16. You have to wonder why we put in an offer of £250k on Motherwell's top scorer. I get he's only got a year left and we probably don't want to be seen to flash the cash, but that was never going to get taken. Are we really interested? If I was a 'Well fan i'd be raging at the miserly offer.
  17. Evening times reporting that Motherwell rejected a bid from us for Moult: http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/15397214.EXCLUSIVE__Motherwell_reject_Aberdeen_bid_for_Louis_Moult/?ref=twtrec
  18. Depends if he's actually going to be played as a striker? I'd still hope we're after Louis Moult, but maybe we were put off by the fee.
  19. Nicky Maynard, former West Ham and Cardiff Striker has signed Edit: TC just informed me he played under Deek at Bristol City where he did score lots of goals. Here's hoping he can reproduce that form!
  20. A few papers reporting that we're going to hopefully announce a new signing before the game today. A new Macaroni pie?
  21. For a selfish reason I'm gutted we got the Bosnians. Flight prices appear to have completely ruled me out. Enjoy meeting the Red Army in Mostar if anyone does go And remember to shout jebes hrvatska at the siroki cunts
  22. I see we're linked with Louis moult when the May deal falls through. Didn't mind what I saw of Motherwell previously.
  23. On a personal level, it would probably have to be AFC-Bayern in 2008. Wasn't there at Copenhagen and had to make do with the BBC red button for that one Certainly wasn't there for the original Bayern fixture! The buzz around the place, tinged with alcohol and joy. had a brilliant night.
  24. Whilst some folk are getting into a tizz over this, bear in mind poor ex AFC goalkeeper Scott Brown: The yellow is a horror show!
  25. Oh good point, had forgotten about him
