  1. thats what im saying, but he still did put that nice ball down the line to start the move for folly's goal
  2. haha yup, but we have also seen THAT volley against hearts!
  3. damn right it was. he had so many misplaced passes HOWEVER...it was his ball down the line to vernon - that one little touch of class and he WAS running about tracking back, so at least he was trying
  4. going to be my first game in a long time might even bring ma wee cousin and my wee sister, try get some more supporters!
  5. were diamond and aluko brought off due to injury?
  6. i wasnt at the game either, but seen it on alba i think "livewire" would be the best way to describe his performance get the feeling he'll score some right good goals for us, but miss some sitters too
  7. what is we made the league cup a group format, sort of similar to the europa league? have preliminary rounds for the lower leagues then when the big boys come in, make it a group format for 3 games or something?
  8. an absolute beast of a guy and was funny watching Alba last night, i had no idea what the commentators were saying, but was like a benny hill sketch the way magennis kept giving defenders 3 yards of a head start but still kept gaining on them. he certainly is rough and doesnt look like a footballer, technically speaking, but he has some awesome physical attributes. who knows, brown might be the one to get something out of him. he's kinda a likeable version of tommy wright also is the spitting image of ronaldo (the real one)
  9. delighted and lets hope our big players will come onto a game now with some proper coaching and management
  10. why dont they just get the girls to describe his willy. if they get it right, then theyve obviously seen it?
  11. you are aware you're painfully unhumourous, arent you?
  12. big time players we had in that squad who rose to the big time challenges.
  13. you're quite obviously a moron. no way youre too thick to realise i was talking about the players in each teams as they are now
  14. erm http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/football/2010/11/04/former-scotland-defender-david-mcnamee-faces-life-on-the-football-scrapheap-aged-just-30-86908-22691551/ weird? saying he had offer from us but nothing came of it and hes considering quitting game!
  15. a particular number of romanians in madrid will certainly remember me!!! and as for qualifying from the group was the minimum...really? away an bile yer heid, every one of those teams had way more experience in europe than us and also a much more expensively assembled side. copenhagen had Gronkjaer and i THINK Hangelaand for god sake!
  16. i dont think thats correct though the guy was and still is devastated he was sacked
  17. really? dont twist my words, im not saying all he achieved was the minimum. christ, qualifying for last 32 of europa league is the minimum is it? i said the LEAST we could expect from him was the minimum, which was top 4 finish and europe most seasons.
  18. how about you comment on my rhetort to that? that if we only won 3 of our last 16, then how good must our first 22 have been? judge at the end of season, we finished 4th.
  19. yawn thats a tired and downright incorrect way to look at things. so, if we won the league next season, its only because the other teams were crap? ir we win a cup, its only because the other teams were crap? balls to that theory. you get what you deserve. we finished 4th and that was deemed not good enough shambolic
  20. get your point yeah, but if we only picked up 3 wins in his last 16 games...how well must we have been doing in the first 22 to amass as many points to keep us in 4th!! as im sure you know, you need to judge at the end of the season and we finished 4th and qualified for Europe. thats the minimum we should be looking at i think, with the off exceptional season thrown in. jimmy would ALWAYS deliver the minimum, thats the club he built in 5 years. i honestly believe given another 5 years, he'd have moved us on again
  21. if you believe it in the way youve painted it, then i feel very, very sorry for you. jimmys last season, he finished 4th. how the HELL did he leave us as relegation fodder? as i alluded to earlier, the squad he assembled were full of characters that he could manage. thats what you do, you buy players you can work with. its not his fault he was sacked and the next manager couldnt handle them
