Kinda screwed if u'r a season ticket holder and want to take the wee one ....
  2. Quote from MM taken from the BBC: "I am looking at players in the Second Division in England that are earning £1,000 more than we are able to pay as a basic wage."
  3. Hamilton v Aberdeen Att: 2030
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/8524797.stm Nae bad ....... you can see he's hurting, and he's definitely had enough of a certain player or two.
  5. IN/OUT: Out Pre-match: Flying to Amsterdam Post-match: Flying to Cairo Prediction: 0-2 Aberdeen
  6. Fukinhell ..... St J's went to town on the Hivees! I wonder if they will do a Jekyll & Hyde like the Dons?
  7. fully agree with you there about spitting. It came from the Main Stand as well .... Dirty bastards, oops that where I normally sit. On a more serious note, I hope the person (s) who did that feel a bit ashamed when they wake up tomorrow morning, but then again I hope the players do aswell.
  8. Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee has revealed he was spat at by some angry Dons fans after the Scottish Cup defeat by Raith Rovers at Pittodrie. McGhee described the 1-0 loss to the First Division club as the "worst result of my managerial career". "There was heckling, which you expect; some spitting. I've never experienced anything like that," he told BBC Scotland afterwards. "Raith were thoroughly deserving of their result." The Dons forced a replay 10 days ago after firing a late equaliser at Stark's Park, but Gregory Tade's 58th-minute strike was enough to send Raith through on Tuesday. "Raith battled for every ball and won every header," McGhee said. "There's no doubt about it, it's the worst result of my managerial career, and that's no disrespect to Raith Rovers. "We didn't compete for the first ball and never won a header. On a night like this, on a pitch like this we had to at least win the battle and we never won that. "Raith won the battle and got the breakthrough with the goal. We're out the cup and I'm embarrassed, humiliated. Walking down the track there I'm getting people throwing stuff at me." The Dons had earned plaudits last weekend after battling back to draw 4-4 with Celtic in a scintillating Scottish Premier League clash at the same venue. But the emotions among the home supporters could not have been more different after the full-time whistle signalled the end of Aberdeen's Scottish Cup hopes. "I've told the players I think they should be ashamed that they're capable of the sort of performance that they displayed on Saturday (against Celtic) - the battling qualities and the effort, commitment - and to come here tonight and not reproduce that, in a game as important as this, is just scandalous," McGhee added. The Dons boss said none of his players were immune from criticism. But he said the defeat would not affect his position at the club and that he was determined to prove a success at Pittodrie.
  9. My comments were not reactionary as i've been hoping that AFC would bin Kerr and McDonald for a long time. Ifil just confirmed how shit he actually is. SM, WM & Co must wake up and smell the roses and seek avenues of investment into the club.
  10. I fully understand your feelings, but I don't believe that getting shot of MM is the solution ..... punt half the fucking team more like! TAXI FOR KERR, MCDONALD & IFIL
  11. Just back in from the game and I am dumbfounded. Going from the high's of pegging back the 'tic to a 4-4 draw to watching that dross tonight. I believe that MM will get things right eventually, but half of that fucking team need to be booted out of the club, starting with the following: Ifil Kerr McDonald I honestly thought that I had got this out my system as I haven't done it for a while, but obviously not .... TAXI FOR KERR (and I'll pay the fucking fare!) PS: To all those folk who state they wont go back again, they are the lucky ones who probably don't have season tickets.
  12. IN/OUT: In Pre-match: Broadhill for a swift one .... Match: RDS for a change instead of the Main Stand Post-match: Home My Prediction: 3-0 Aberdeen Loon's prediction 3-2 Aberdeen
  13. funny .... i wish i could!

  16. As someone who has paid their money to follow the "Dons" over the last 25 years, I am entitled to my opinion, as you are too. This is a forum for Aberdeen FC, and I thought rightly or wrongly that some people may have been interested that I took exception to the interview.
  17. Fatjim, maybe the word "shock" was excessive but i still believe that things were said that should not have been in my opinion. MaverickSheep summed it up well with "sometimes when thousands of boozed up football fans start howling abuse it's not so much a deliberate assault on the people their venting specifically names, as it is a general release of frustration and angst" STAND FREE!!
  18. Just sent an email to the club. Let's see if I get anything back. To whom it may concern. I would like to take this opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with the tone and content of the interview given by Mark McGhee that was published on the BBC website on the 9th February 2010. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/8506969.stm As an Aberdeen FC supporter, season ticket holder and shareholder I do not feel that I need to explain the reasons behind my dissatisfaction, suffice to say that the interview could have, and should have gone in an entirely different direction. To quote one of my colleagues on www.donstalk.co.uk, the interview, in my humble opinion would have struck a positive chord with the majority of "Dons" supporters if Mark had stated something along the following lines: "The fans are desperate for success, it's been a while for them and frustration does creep in, they're crying out for someone to stand up and be a hero for them and I truly believe we'll get there, we just need to work together and have a little patience because it'll be worth it in the end, we'll give them a team they can be proud of and their continued support will make it easier for that to happen." I look forward to receiving a reply from Aberdeen FC via email concerning this topic that I have raised. Regards, 19afc03 STAND FREE!!
  19. Slim, that is very well worded, you should apply to be MM's PA ....
  20. Well said, I have just read his comments on the BBC website and I am in a state of shock ...... what a tube. I get the impression that he doesn't want to be here anymore. Just an inkling maybe, but there is definitely disharmony there.
