When you look at it like that they're doing you a favour. I've never seen any trouble down there first hand, although I've not been down since early on last season but it is one of the tense places to go. Looks like we need to get ASC up to stength again to fight back. I, however, shall not be volunteering.

Aberdeen have had no voice ever since Keith Wyness left. He was always good at standing up to the Old Firm or speaking out when need be. I'm glad AFC have spoken out. Can't see the fine being too heavy (if anything, to be honest) although I know anything will hurt us. If some of the tight-arse Aberdeen fans can scrape at least some money together it will at least show a gesture to the club (one of which they aren't used to seeing) that will show we appreciate them standing up for ourselves.

Is Milne actually responsible for running the club badly and running up this insurmountable debt?

But I wouldn't even have faith in any replacement being able to defend as well as he could. I know defending wasn't the strongest aspect of his game but he is improving and if by some miracle he was to be replaced (unlikely) I highly doubt we'd have a player that's anywhere near as good. It's a sad state of afairs because Mulgrew's hardly a world beater as it is.

Babel should be better. He cost a hefty sum. Voronin is the type of player that Rafa had to get in because he was available for free and money is toight. Whether it's Rafa's fault or not my patience with Babel is running out.

Dirk started his Liverpool career plying upfront thought and he proved himself to be useless. He's better where he is. Babel does get opportunities upfront though and he simply doesn't take them. He could well do with a sustained run in his favoured position though.

Lack of effort is a real fucking problem which really gets my blood boiling. These players are paid well and they don't fucking try. Lee Miller is a repeat offender. If we were losing games despite 110% put in by every player it would be a damn sight less of a bitter pill to swallow than getting beat because the players aren't fucking trying. The players that can't be arsed should fuck off and let the youngsters in.

Babel has been fucking gash though. He promised so much and delivered so little. I guess you could blame the manager if you really wanted. He's good at adding to the goal tally when Liverpool are already winning but he can't come on and make a difference when it's needed. Personally I'm not calling for Rafa's head yet. I think he's been unlucky with Injuries. He could really do with getting Aquilani fit and Gerrard is a miss for any team long term. Degen's sending off didn't help which was never a sending off.

No not really. I don’t remember either of incidents you mean. Unless you mean the one inside the penalty box where Carra got the ball quite clearly? Player gets ball = good tackle and therefore no foul. It’s not complicated. It’s not me but everyone else that is forever harping on about how Liverpool are a 2 man team! Of course Liverpool are stronger with them but can operate without them. How is that not clear?

I do apologise. I've been working on getting my posts less one dimensional. I'd prefer this thread was about getting an injury free Russell Anderson back on a long term deal or Fernando Torres coming up the road on loan because he's always been a big big Dons fan but it's nae. It's about Mulgrew signing a new deal so nevermind what you'd prefer it to be about.
