Exactly. I think we out-played them and deserved at least a draw if not more. I thought we looked nervous at the start but quickly settled. Aluko had 2 chances near the start and caused them problems all night. He was brilliant. It was a frustrating night of rueing missed chances. A couple of set plays clearly worked on in training almost got us some joy with one of them ending up being scrambled off the Hun line. Diamond should've done better for the goal. Our centre backs seemed to get out-muscled time and time again. It was still only a half chance which was extremely well taken. Rangers didn't really have any clear cut chances that I can remember.

I'm not sure. But I know that if you manage to stop the two arrows near enough the middle you'll usually score. Too far to either side and you've fucked it. I've managed to get to the semi final stage 2 or 3 times but never beyond.

I see that people generally want a 16 or 18 team league which would of course mean there are less games in a season. Would the season ticket price remain the same? Would we be willing to pay the same (or more) for a season ticket if there were less games?

Err.. aye. I know it is but we need harsher penalties for jockeys found guilty of it. Instead of a few days that they sometimes get make it a few weeks or more.

I've felt this for 2 or 3 seasons now. It's a chore to watch the Dons. I always vow not to get a season ticket the following year but but always have. Maybe now that I have to pay full price I might actually not renew. It sometimes feels like a bad marriage and I feel obligated to go and support the team. There's absolutely no doubt, however, that if there wasn't the social aspect involved of going to the game with mates that I would've stopped going by now.

I kent someone would pop up with a post like that! Aye I heard about the jockey too after I heard about the horses. In all honesty I have less sympathy for the jockey because they can appreciate and evaluate the risks. The horses are given less of a choice. I agree they're fantistic creatures. Perhaps you're right, though, and I would appreciate it more if I'd seen it close up. I completely agree with reducing the hight of the fences and I also think there should be harsher penalties for "excessive use of the whip".

For the life of me I cannot understand horse racing. It almost seems cruel to me (which is an argument strengthened by the death of two participants at the weekend) and a certainly will never have any sort of care factor for horse racing.

I thought we were shite on Saturday but also unlucky at the same time. I did think that Pawlett was fouled but shouldn't be trying to play out of that position he was in. At the time I thought Sodje was offside but having seen it again I saw that Derek Young was playing him on. He's not a right back so I'm hesitant about ripping him to shreds and Pawlett should've hoofed it in the first place. Maguire was fucking infruriating. He can score from the half way line but can't beat the first man with a corner. His crossing was utter bollocks too. But he wasn't the only one guilty of that. He was unlucky with that sitter though but he could've placed it more effectively. I wouldn't been too concerned if he fucked off.
