  1. I'm pretty sure it's Nisa that ST works in so he's in the clear.
  2. Florida. Again. Although a different part of Florida this time. May not be everyone's cup of tea but I can't see how 2 weeks in the sun with 5 mates in a beautiful villa could be anything other than ace.
  3. Apparently he did get offers but obviously none of them were too good to turn down. His missus wants to stay in Aberdeen.
  4. Haha touché, ST!
  5. I'm hearing Darren Mackie has retired. Hopefully now we can pack in all the jokes and rumours about him re-signing for us.
  6. Ashamed? Liverpool have been drawing/losing at home to mediocre sides for years! Ach Liverpool never had to come oot of second gear. Hearts only had a lifeline because Reina has got the worst concentration in all of professional football. I'd bin the cunt and bring in Gordon. Especially if some stupid mob are willing to pay £20m + for him. As soon as they had to score they did. Job done. European glory beckons.
  7. Fucking yas. This time tomorrow I'll be in London on my way across the pond again. Get in!
  8. I don't think we need one but was just giving examples of buildings that would be more important than revamping a park.
  9. Precisely. I know how it's funded in theory but as far as I can see it's 99% likely to end up being a giant waste of money. If it was something we needed like a hospital or titty bar then I'd be more inclined to support such a risk.
  10. Take yer sensible and rational thoughts away from this UTG debate, Tom!
  11. Don't get me wrong.. I'd much rather stay at Pittodrie than move. I don't want to move at all but as I understood it we'd have a mortgage on a new stadium which would raise money that redevelopment wouldn't. Which is apparantly why we have to move. Whether that's true or not is another kettle of ball games.
  12. Well in that case he can stay away.
  13. But how long is it going to take to regenerate the £90m? I'm all for fucking building something but this is simply not fucking financially viable!!!!11!!1!
  14. The loan repayments have to be paid by ACC. So over time the £90m (plus interest albeit it a lower rate?) comes out of the council's budget. Or have I missed something?
  15. GS, Penfold has announced it.
  16. Almost makes me want to buy chrome effect spinner hub caps for my Golf.
  17. Have you even bothered reading my posts min? For Fuck FFS sake here we go again! One more time for those with selective hearing. Cost of project: £140m (and the rest) Money being offered by Mannie Wood: £50m plus up to £35m if it goes over budget (and it will.) I'm no Asian but I still think I'm getting my maths correct here: £140m -£50m =£90m NINETY FUCKING MILLION. Who's "offering this up"? The cooncil has to find it from somewhere. What I've struggled to grasp, Kow, is why people seem to think the whole lot is being paid for privately when it just fucking isn't. (not saying you specifically think this, like.) And unless 100% of the cost comes from private investment (LOL) it's going to be taking funding away from other much more worthwhile causes. It's not happening because we can't afford it. The funding isn't there. If the whole project was being covered it'd be half finished by now.
  18. Aye he fucked off ages ago. I also noticed that he no longer seems to be a member. No idea why that is though.
  19. St. Mirren looking half decent but I expect us to score and I expect us to win FFS fuck sake. Although Russell looked good at right-back I'd prefer him not to play there often (at all) tbh be honest. I like Jack playing in midfield but I'd still rather have him at RB than Ozzie or Russ. Keeping Russell and Ozzie both fit is vital. This aside I want more of the same as last weekend but with decent finishing. In/Oot: Oot. 35,000 feet above the Atlantic. Prediction: 3-0 Dons.
  20. I don't doubt that it's possible from a physical point of view (as I've said previously in this thread) but isn't the issue there the money? ie not being able to raise any for carrying out such work?
  21. Sevco away is a nailed on cert.
  22. Nice one Al. I like the rims.
  23. Is that the same Tynecastle that saw Hearts have to move some of their European games to Murrayfield because it was against some regulation?
  24. Cheers for letting me know. Any birds or homos on here in the market for a Golf?
