Shaed of the Dazzler's goal a few years back chalked off for offside when he was being played on by two defenders by at least a couple of feet. Embarrassing.
I'm seeing this all over the place. They weren't relegated by a dive. They were relegated by the awful results they amassed for most of the season. They're going doon because they deserve to go doon. Not because Pawlett hit the deck early. FTR the record I still think it's obviously that Pawlett would have drawn the foul and the penalty if he'd stayed on his feet.
I've only seen it the once. But my thoughts were that he was going down before he even reached the defender's out stretched leg. But had he kept going he would have undoubtedly have been brought down by said leg. So it would have been a penalty anyway?
I used to thoroughly enjoy this tournament and look forward to it every year but this year I could probably count the number of frames I've watched on one hand. The ba's burst if Ronnie can fuck off and spend a year away from Snooker whinging and just walk back in and more or less win it at a canter.
Burley? Who are they? Also made 34 appearances for Derby County.
There's no doubt he's starting to slow down although overall I'd still say he's been pretty solid this season. His reading of the game has helped him with losing his pace (what little he had). I hope he gets some rest during the summer and can continue to perform next season.
Storie was full of effort but looked nervous. It wasn't a great debut and he was hooked at half time. Whether that was the plan all along or not I don't know.
I was pleased to see a youngster start!
Another brilliant goal from McGinn to separate the sides. We could have easily won by more. We were the better team. We'll do well to hold on to McGinn in the summer. But I can easily see someone offering a pittance and our board biting their hands off for it.
Hughes is still pish.
