  1. Rchard forster? Lee Miller? Josh Walker?
  2. Grow Up, fair enough in most of our european games we have greatly over achieved, bearing in mind not many people gave us much of a chance after drawing dnipro. All people are saying is they hope the club gives them something to remember an extended european run by, something aberdeen hasnt had, and probably wont have for a long time. Why shouldnt we look back fondly on matching teams of a vastly superior quality, with a much greater budget than ours? This season has given us some great memories, despite our terrible league form
  3. I'll admit i never actually read that but i've learned enough from my short time on this planet to learn that McNee is a prick and should be discarded immediately
  4. Actually according to the record Mackie will miss up to 6 weeks Bloody sun :hammer:
  5. The ever reliable sun had quotes from calderwood this morning saying mackie will be out for up to 6 months
  6. I'd agree that he has been prone to howlers, but when on form he can be a very capable keeper, worth keeping as a back up at the least. Aye i forgot about maybury, id be keeping him as a first team pick too. Id also hope to keep seve foster and touzani, all can be useful players when theyre on form, and i really think they would benefit from 1) being fully fit 2) having competition for places. I know this wont be a popular idea but as a last resort id be keeping bryne as well, on the provision that he only ever plays centre half, he's seemed solid enough in there.
  7. The only one's i'd be going all out to keep are zander, smith, miller, langfield nicholson & lovell However realistically theres no way any club can bring in an entire first team squad over the summer, some of the fringe players will have to stay
  8. Judging by the state of you when i ran into you on wednesday i don't doubt that! my brother wasnt too impressed by the threat of a bumming from you!
  9. Totally true, he was useless today, had so many chances it was unreal! theres no way he should have started instead of lovell :hammer: Ball was out of play, was a red card though! hibs should have had a pen when bus tried the same as against celtic though Apart from jeff, maguire and buss the players were alright, almost good today. the ref however was terrible, top class official my a*se
  10. No need, no need at all.............
  11. So your going to take mizer out in munich? Nice wee date youve set up there!
  12. Which diamond have you been watching? this season he has come on leaps and bounds, getting closer to fulfilling the potential he showed when he first broke into the team Time to get the cataracts checked!
  13. aye we did, think it will be a condition of the german tv coverage!
  14. That pretty much tells me that jimmy will sign him in the summer, being good to have around the place seems to be a trait found in many of jimmys favourites
  15. Don't tell me you actually think we can play 4-5-1 do you?
  16. The players have shown they can play to the standard required (Copenhagen, Dundee Utd at home, Hibs at home) but the lack of consistency is shocking, half the time they either don’t know what they are meant to be doing or they just don’t look like they care. And why Calderwood persists in avoiding playing 4-4-2 is beyond me, we've shown that our team can play very well using this system but the tombola always takes priority! :hammer: Losing Anderson really shouldn’t have made such a difference to our defence either, and if it was obvious in pre season that it was weakening us that much Calderwood should have replaced him, and replaced him properly instead of picking different defensive line ups every game.
  17. I couldnt make it to the game last night (which i was initially gutted about) so i cant really comment about the perfomance/result etc.... but i agree with your sentiments totally, since the turn of the year i've been getting more and more frustrated with calderwoods decisions, tactics, general cluelessness. It's painfully obvious to anyone who has seen us play over the last while that we are simply not performing to our capabilities and serious questions need to be asked as to why this keeps happening.
  18. Easy, cup trebles still on!
  19. Damn you! what a scare to give people! not funny at all...................
  20. The BBC commentary is quality! "I suspect Jimmy Calderwood will be giving his players a roasting at half time" "Roasting but not in the sense usually associated with top class footballers" :lolabove:
  21. I'd still bet that its a hell of a lot better than Hamilton's pitch just now!
  22. did someone mention Jackie mac carrying a slight knock midweek? or has he just been dropped? Hamilton's boss has just said he's disappointed with the state of the pitch!
