  1. I'm sure i read something about pittodrie being revalues around the time of the financial report coming out. it seemed to say the land was worth £20 million now, assuming our dept is still around the 12 million mark id doubt contributing 8 million to the new stadium would be too much of a stumbling block!
  2. Would have prefered a site closer to the centre/pittodrie but got to say i'm impressed with how far AFC have come with this, really didnt get it to get to this stage at all!
  3. Seve benched again! Langfield, Hart, Foster, Byrne, Mair, Young, Clark, Aluko, Nicholson, Miller, Maguire
  4. The council and people in aberdeen in general needs to realise that the plans for a stadium are not just for the benifit of aberdeen fc. It would bring events to the city like bigger concerts and different sporting events such as rugby internationals not to mention the possibility of involvement in the proposed Euro bid which in itself will bring millions into the local economy Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire councils really do need to stop stunting the development of the area or it really will turn into a backwater.
  5. Im Edinburghdon, down in edinburgh for uni but originally from aberdeen and also an escapee from the hat!
  6. To be fair tonight i dont think we played very badly at all, only not to our potential and the players lost to injury were a blow. Clark was shocking, severin and young werent in the game as much as they should have been because the midfield was key for us tonight. I have to admit that Touzani, Miller and even Byrne were great tonight, and Jeff did well when he came on, id fully expect all 4 to start at the weekend. At the end of the day the first goal came from a silly tackle that probably never had to be made and the second came from a very very soft free kick, nothing to be ashamed of losing 2-0 in those circumstances against a team thats just spent well over 40 million, especially given the fact that we had a few good chances as well. EDIT: And diamond showed a great example to the rest of the team, taking a heavy knock and insisting on carrying on despite being in obvious agony, showed the spirit we need as a captain - Take note Mr. Severin
  7. Been told by my dad that dempsey was in to see about selling his house this morning, looks like he's off
