  1. Cannae beat Partridge's other attempt at football commentary. "Shit! I .. I ... I mean GOAL!!!"
  2. I would love it if they went down. I fuckin hate the yams. Got a bit of a soft-spot for the Hibees, but I cannae fuckin stand the yams. They're just the new huns. Infact they're WORSE than the huns in so many different ways. If I didn't hate the original song, I'd love to sing "Hail Hail Stephen Frail"

Will do! I actually spotted a Tetris game, and will chuck it on as soon as I get onto my home computer (could be a couple of days, cos I'm off to see I Am Legend tonight)
  4. I was looking at them ... and they asked for a square go!

yeah, not sure why this is happening. I don't have direct access to the DB to check what's going on with the sql sessions. Could you hae a word wi' yer mate to see what the chances would be of me getting direct access?
  6. Paddy and Mick. To which Jimmy Calderwood replied "is this some sort of joke?"
  7. Surely Pittodrie can decide where the microphones are placed in the stadium. I would've thought, in the interest of showing up how good an atmosphere Pittodrie CAN be, that the mics should be positioned on the Upper RDS and on the South Stand from Sections S to Y. Why position these mics above what is (Old Firm aside) always a sparsely-populated away crowd.

You kids these days have it easy with yer fancy computer games. Donkey Kong was bloody tricky in my days. But then it was relatively easy when compared to the likes of Manic Minor, Jet Set Willy, Lunar Jetman and Attic Attack. Back in the day!
  9. To be fair Bobby, I cannot remember a single player in recent times who has said "I want to leave" before they've actually left. It's just not the done thing. In recent times, Anderson, Winters, Zero, Whyte, Dadi, Bisconti and Stavrum left it until they'd actually signed with someone else before telling us.
  10. There's one in Dnipro city centre too. It's awesome. It's a HUGE bounce. When the reds start jumping on "TEN", it looks as though some of the Dnipro fans jump in thinking it's the start of a riot. Brilliant stuff!
  11. Willie Miller's already told him how much cash will be available. So what's the problem for JC? Perhaps he should sit down with the contract rebels and ask them what they are waiting for. Is it more money? Is it reassurance that JC will be there next season? What is it? On another note, it's awesome to see Langfield (note I've dropped the C) has penned a new deal. I was one to slate him regularly at the beginning of the season and pretty much all of last season. Hell, I was one of the "Give Preece A Chance" brigade. Infact I think I was the only one in that brigade. I regularly called him Clangfield for his mistakes and wished we had a better keeper. But I hold my hands up and say sorry to him, as he has established himself in my good books now. I think he might've taken Severin's spot! And to see his response to the first goal against Copenhagen was just immense. Wish we had more players with his sort of passion.

What about the new ones? Can you see Star Wars, Duck Hunt or Donkey Kong?

... infact, try it now. I've altered the permissions of the arcade and I think this may have resolved the issue. Alarm bells began to ring out when I read that it was people in certain Supporters Clubs that couldn't get the games to work

hmmmm. could everyone try clearing their temporary internet files and cookies? Let me know what the result is after doing this, cos I can see all the games, and I can see a number of other users using the new games successfully.
  15. So assuming that our stadium will need a new name ... what's it gonna be?? Do we keep the Pittodrie name? Do we use the name it Loirston Park? Or do we go the way Bolton went and name it after the primary sponsor. If that's the case, on our budget we'd probably end up calling it Gola Park.
  16. ... well, dinnae forget Farum's most famous Danish name .... GARY BROOOOOOOOOKES
  17. ... and me! What a stupid place to put a hun shop ... half way inbetween the boozer and our house! That's just askin for trouble. The tims shop got security cameras ... but that didnae stop a few leaky mornings for the tatty-munchin counterstaff

... and I've also added a few more nostalgic games, namely Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt, Sports Smash, Star Wars and Triathlon. Enjoy

Hmmmm. Might have to install the arcade again. I don't think this will have any bearing on the problem whatsoever, but could the following users please advise me who your internet provider is?: TenemenFunster: Edinburghdon: DundeeRed: ShabbaRanks: Peterheid Loon:
  24. Alternatively, just flunk the finals and be a scaffy or a janny for the rest of yer life!
  25. Can you blame Jimmy for being reluctant to sign a new contract? Sure, he's taken the team to phenomenal heights of 3rd place (nearly 2nd, if we'd clung on for a bit longer last season), and now the last 32 of the UEFA Cup. But still there's a big chunk of fans that just won't turn up because it's JC's team that is fielded. And then there's the fans that moan at every single glitch in his team. I must admit I'm a bit guilty of pointing the blame stick at Jimmy quite often. But he moved to Aberdeen because he was excited by the prospect of being able to build the club up and get full houses coming in. Well, he's build the club's reputation back up to a level that's not been seen for a decade-and-a-half. But the crowds are still staying away. Infact, our crowd averages are lower than they ever were with Steve Paterson or Ebbe Skovdahl ... and he's achieved a lot more than either of them did. Maybe he's ran out of ideas and patience in his attempt at luring more fans back to Pittodrie. A move to Hibs would possibly interest him, as there's quite a sizeable kitty there to play with, and Hibs actually have a fully operational youth system ... unlike us whose youth conveyor belt is stuttering and spluttering like Bertha.
