  1. Madrid?? Pah. We beat their big brothers. None of this namby pamby "Atletico" shite! 1-0 ... to the Ah Bah Deen!
  2. Haha. Forgot about that!! Hae a look at my Bebo, min. Ye'll see a photo I stole fae Ginge from Denmark. It's that long-lost photo of the lot of us standin behind Robbie Winters after the Farum game, giein the fingers, and holding our fists and beers in the air! A cracker!!! Your goal against Koge was the highlight of that match, I tell ya.
  3. haha. had a laugh when trying to cram all that last bit in
  4. It's more than likely down to the idea that Atletico may be some way short of filling the home end, and in an attempt at reaping the rewards, Atletico are speaking to the Dons with a view to offering more tickets in the away end. It's not a difficult concept to put into action, as United consistently give us more tickets at Tannalice than they originally decided.
  5. Absolute arsehole with some really really annoying posts ... rather MOSTLY annoying posts that irritated the shit outa me. Still, it's only a game and these are only discussion forums for said game. Sad to hear of his passing. I won't miss his posts, but I wouldn't wish death upon anyone. RIP Big Gay Hiya. May the chat forums of heaven be forever cursing your writing style and opinions. I'm sure even The Almighty's patience will be tested by you, hehe.
  6. Every season we have a nightmare result. Whether it's getting dumped out of a cup by Queen Of The South, or losing 6-0 in the league to the guys at the bottom. Every year we seem to have this knack of having ONE stupid result that just shouldn't have been. As such, was today's defeat at Tynecastle our freak result of this year? I hope so. To beat high-flying United so comprehensibly, and then to hold the mighty Loko Moscow to a draw (when they were lucky to get a draw out of us!!) ... and then to throw all the hard work away with a joke of a result against the shitey mini-huns! Surely this has to be our "annual blip".
  7. To what tune, mizer?
  8. Aye, but at least we're nae last in the group now!
  9. Hehe. Welcome to DonsTalk, vanderark. Panic ain't in our vocabulary ... unless The Hat goes down, and then we get inundated with the conspiracy-crew.
  10. Was Aluko any good? From all the reports I've read and the youtube video I saw of the game highlights, he looked comfortable on the ball, and pretty bloody quick too! (by quick, I don't mean "Darren Mackie quick", cos it looked as though Aluko could actually control the ball at pace) Anyone at the game give their opinions of the loon?
  11. Apparently the other person was Darren Mackie!! According to the Daily Retard. Midweek at Hampden would be ridiculous for both us AND United. They should make the game at a neutral venue on the East Coast. East End Park, McDiarmid Park ... even Tynecastle or Easter Road would do. But travelling from Dundee or Aberdeen to Hampden (AND BACK!) on a weeknight is ridiculous ... unless the SFA really really want Hampden to be half-empty. Mind you, that'd please the hacks at the Sun and Daily Record. They'd thrive on the stat of the New Firm semi-final only pulling a half-full national stadium. But then they are very quick to forget just how bloody difficult it is to get from the north-east to Glasgow on a weeknight.
  12. Normal practice for such a high-profile game! The club will be wanting to monitor who is going to the game so that they can crack the whip if any trouble occurs - which is pretty much a given for this particular fixture as Atletico have quite a rough section of fans.
  13. Haha! That was like me in the 2001/02 season. Must've been to a good dozen away matches that season ... and I never saw a single loss. That was until Alfrom joined us for the matches, and jaegerdeen spotted one match that he went to and we lost ... and all of a sudden he was labelled a jinx. Doesnae matter than me and Alfrom probably saw about fifteen wins that season on our travels (bearing in mind that Pittodrie matches were classed as our biggest away day!!). That one loss meant Alfrom was called a jinx for the rest of the season. Once yer labelled a jinx, MT, it's bloody difficult to shake off that label.
  14. JINX! Burn him at the stake .... mmmmmmmmm, steak!

  16. .... and ..... done!
  17. I would, but I'm currently in Auckland! Bit of a long distance to travel at such short notice
  18. Can we watch it online on the Beeb?
  19. I've sent an email to every member to explain how to get into Donstalk via the "alternative" url. It might pay to bookmark the zakynthos web address until the domain is resolved
  20. Being written off is good for us. It's a win-win situation for us really. If we lose, at least it ain't to the likes of Skonta Riga or Bohemians. It'll be against proven quality European opposition ... most of whom are no strangers to the Champions League!!! But if we win, we'll be heralded as the best Dons side since Fergie's days.
  21. Miller couldnae win a game of snap ... against himself!
  22. And what's the difference between JDV this season and Eugene Dadi six years ago? Dadi went down under the slightest of contact ... sometimes NO contact. But the penalties he won us definitely saw us win a number of games that just shouldn't have gone our way. In this world, the nice guys never win!!! It's about time Aberdeen started to become a bunch of cunts!!
  23. Still think we need to steady the SS Pittodrie. Before we go off dreaming of Euro adventures, we gotta get rid of that debt!!! The only way we can get rid of that is by "doing a Hibs" and selling off our best young talents. Firstly we need to secure our existing squad on decent contracts ... none of this 24 month pish!! Then we need to sort out some form of training complex so that we can kickstart our youth conveyor belt. Jumping out into the wilderness and purchasing European players who havenae got any sort of pedigree, but still think they deserve the wages, is definitely not the way to go. Wipe that debt off our backs, and then we can start dreaming.
  24. Bloody blow my cover min! I made it all the way to ukraine. Stelios flew me personally from Auckland to Dnipro directly. And after all that trouble, I wisnae gonna go quietly from that stadium. Trust you tae grass on me, ya bocht ein!
  25. Whatever we can get from Spain? Nothing more than an awesome day out for every dandy who goes! This will easily be the biggest travelling support we've taken to the continent since the good ship St Claire took us to Gothenburg. And I reckon the Red Ultras will do us proud in a stadium that is already guaranteed to be decorated with flags and colour from the home support. Who cares about the scoreline. One thing's for sure. Every dandy will enjoy themselves in Madrid. Hey, who knows. We could sneak a win. Stranger things happened in 1983!!
