  1. I know, that was the one that really cracked me up - has he based that on who M'well are playing over corresponding 3 games? I read that on that bog, dumped my load in a oner after reading that one!
  2. Was in Nesting last week, funnily enough, my wife hails from up there. Dinna half like their fitba up there.
  3. I take it the Lee Miller money is still available to spend . . . . . . . :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove:
  4. So, Leitch sacked behind MM's back? If that's the case, then surely MM will walk, as the rug has been pulled from under his feet, unless he's been sacked for a particular offence. Interesting few days ahead, it seems.
  5. Looks like Tommy Wright has burnt his bridges with MM after last weeks final whistle spat in the tunnell, not even listed as a sub today.
  6. Can't really get into the latest Charlie Boorman series. Liked the two Long Way series he did with Ewen McGregor, and the Dublin to Sydney By any means was okay, but watched the first 2 episodes of this one and that's it for me, boring.
  7. Like one of them German Bierkellers, with those massive jugs of Lager with the huge head? I likes it too. Imagine that? Turn up at Loirston at 1pm, bit of pre-match scran, 3 or 4 of them Lagers then outside to the stadium. Nice. Bring it on.
  8. Doesn't neccesarily mean theyt won't be offered deals I suppose, but not looking hopefull. Maybe they were only ever going to be here for the 4 days, and have other options, but we could still potentialy come back in for them before end of the month.
  9. Bristol City have "entered the frame" now, Talksport are alleged to have said, £1m
  10. Sharpie, was that outside the golf club on the corner of Golf Road/Pittodrie St? McLean wasn't the only occupant at the time we were congoing, it was full of Utd players, but Jum got off the bus and told a copper to move us on!
  11. Did you see Calderwood right at the start of the AGM? Tapped the cameraman on the shoulder to squeeze past him, then the camera almost took his head off when it swung round. If looks could kill...... Agree though, the bloke should have taken Willie up on his offer to meet him and JC off air, nothing to worry about. These guys need to know how us fans feel about things, as CHris Gavin certainly isn't letting them know.
  12. Willie Miller offered one fan a square go, sorry, a meeting after the AGM, with Calderwood, regarding this mysterious fans expectations comments, that he knows nothing aboit. The fan agreed to meet Miller, but shat it at the thought of Calderwood being present!!
  13. What would happen if we beat Hearts next week, then lose to Killie and then to United the next game? Does the two game stretch cover any two consecutive games till the end of the season. JC is a dead man walking, no question, but this two games statement is utter shyte
  14. Just watched the whole game on Sellic TV, and thought we knocked the ball about really well. Fairly strong AFC and not many first teamers in the Sellic team, but we moved the all around and with pace better than any of the first teams games that I've seen over the last season or two. Was impressed with Stuart Smith at left back - pacey, good in the tackle and has a bit of dig about him. JDV's goal was a carbon copy of the one he scored at Tynie last season. Tommy Wright hardly seen, but if Maguire can keep up that type of perfromance, then he should be dislodging Mackie in the 1st team.
  15. I don't have any major beef with Calderwood, and the fact remains that he did a decent job in his 1st 4 season in getting us up to the opposite end of the league (refuse to use the term top 6, as to use that term as some barometer of success is demented). However, he clearly can't take us to the next level, which is best of the rest, and as this stage of the season, we should be up and in about the Old Firm, and his contract should have been allowed to run down in the summer. Seems an open secret that he was head hunted by a decent Dutch team in the spring - who knows what happened there but he ended up re-signing for us for 3.5 years, a crazy situation that will haunt us for some time to come. I don't doubt he will lead us out of our current predicament, but as has been said already, he should have been gone afer the QOTS debacle.
  16. Mulgrew, very impressed with. Got caught out twice yesterday when trying to play his way out of defence, but other than that, great (right footed) cross for the goal, and overall play has been great so far Kerr, seems content to pay the Neil Lennon role in our team, but need him to get forward a bit more. Also, disgraceful hair style, needs a shinhead as soon as. Not his fault he is going prematurely bald, but needs must. McDonald, better 2nd half yesterday, but bottled a 50/50 which is a big no no in a Hun game. Have to trust big Caldo that he can come onto a game, but so far, imho, not that impressed so far. If JC signs a RB and CB this week as is being rumoured, then if Seve moves into midfield again, then his place could be in jepeordy
  17. Agree with Swaddon, the sunday game v Rangers back in 2001. Was that the same game that Ricksen karate chopped Daz Young?
  18. Hope he just has a sair heed for a few days only, as we already have Seve, Wright and Young doubtful for the Hun clash on saturday.
  19. I see Mulgrew played centre hallf tonight, so wouldn't surprise me if he starts the season there.
  20. Rather than the club showing some acumen by signing up the player 12 months ahead of his deal ending, is it not the case that his total appearances this season triggered a clause in his contract that ensured him a new improved deal?
