  1. I hope some people take note of the bit regarding wages. If there's anything that f*cks me off about modern football it's fans not understanding how little money there is in the SPL.

We've got some really tough games coming up.
  3. You're from Aberdeen then yeah? I've supported them as long as I've followed football due to the fact my mother supported them. She also grew up in the era of Best/Law/Charlton and that's the team she remembers from a young age, specifically because of an Aberdonian playing in one of the greatest football sides of all time. You may or may not be aware, but Aberdeen and Man United had many connections before Sir Alex Ferguson (Robo should take note of that as well ). Although like many Aberdeen fans, she followed Ferguson's career when he went to United after all that he did for the club/city.
  4. What connection do you have to Aberdeen Football Club?

Our next four games are as hard as they're going to get. Hibs (a) Motherwell (a) Caley (h) Celtic (a) Motherwell and Hibs have both managed to get back in contention, Caley have had a little bit of a resurgence under Terry Butcher and Celtic, well they're a bunch of c*nts. To make it worse we've got three of those games away. With Motherwell and Hibs back in with a shout, there's now four teams trying to get in about the top 6. The first two spots are gone to the Old Firm, and I think Hearts have done enough to secure their place, so it's between us, Dundee Utd, Hibs and Motherwell. We really can't afford to lose to Hibs in our next league game. The remaining games for the other teams fighting for 3rd/4th spot...
  6. with a mental age of... Or maybe I watched a documentary about them when I was about 5 and that got me hooked, I really can't remember. How are Nottingham Forest getting on nowadays anyway? You won a league three times in one year? Awesome.
  7. Yes Jagger, we know, you're Mr Aberdeen.

  15. I've not heard any United fan say they didn't care. Saturday was painful viewing, getting turned over by Liversh*te at Old Trafford was soul-destroying. The manner in which we lost was the most annoying thing though, as every goal came from a f*ck-up. Vidic not putting his foot through the ball, Evra giving away the pen, Vidic's red-card and sending off for the freekick, then poor defending for the fourth. In fact, every goal United have conceded against Liverpool this season have been gifts (VDS palming the ball off Brown and Giggs dithering for Babel's winner). Take nothing away from Liversh*te, they fully deserved the win but if you put everything into context it wasn't as clear-cut as the scoreline suggests. However, in saying all that, there's good reason that the majority of United fans didn't take it as badly as usual. We're still in pole position, 4 points clear with a game in hand. Win that and we'll be 7 clear, with the knowledge that Liverpool and Chelsea only have 27 points left to play for. Will either of them take 8 more points than United in that time? Says the fan of Liverpool and Notts Forest.
  16. As opposed to being the scum of the earth. Ryan Giggs is a scouser?

I think I caught me a live one...
  18. A couple of wins in one season doesn't suggest that Rafa 'owns' anyone. United have two trophies in the bag at the moment, are favourites for the league title, joint favourites for the Champions League, and have a FA Cup semi against Everton to look forward to. Liverpool are still 3rd in the league, with this being the first season under Benitez that they've managed to come out top in the big four. I think I'm right in saying that until this year the only player that'd scored for Liverpool against United in Benitez's tenure was John O'Shea. At least at the end of the year they'll have a 4-1 win at Old Trafford to hold onto.
