  1. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25203280
  2. Even still though Al, he just didn't look hungry enough
  3. This is the biggest pile of bullshit. Game of Thrones has been the most illegally watched tv show of all time but it's STILL making a shitload for HBO and is in no threat of cancellation. Also I bet you have borrowed a book or a dvd from friends before . You didn't pay for it yet had the experience this provided. This is no different.
  4. 8 confirmed dead now, I know a guy who works there and he was there when it happened though escaped unscathed. Its all just a bit fucking mental isn't it
  5. get the fuck in
  6. Anyone got a link i can report to the proper authorities?
  7. I disagree, doesn't seem dm's style to shit it in the face of heading to the tattiebowl. Fuck knows how it will work out but I think we will have a go at them
  8. Boyd is a bit of an easy target, he is still an accomplished striker. I'm quite interested to see how he plays if truth be told. Update Just turned on sportsound and Willie Miller is praising the call up Edit I just agreed with Chick Young............ i feel sick he just questioned why boyd is in the squad and not stevie may as well
  9. How long until bt sport stops being free to broadband customers I wonder
  10. Oooft That's your career fucked. Wife of Rory Fallon in case no one else put that together (I don't read the P&J)
  11. Zola, like most other players, has improved with games this season. Time will tell if this kind of form will maintain itself or even progress but so far the learning curve is going in the right direction which can never be a bad thing. Vernon will get more starts, if our form continues expect teams to come to pittodrie looking for a draw opening the possibility of playing two up front
  12. from the Inverness Courier
  13. Time of the month?
  14. Not a bad performance last night, I agree with tyrant that smith looked really promising. He fell away in the second half but I really like the look of him. Could be a real talent. I thought Flood was superb also, really broke up the thistle midfield. I said previous that I thought Thistle were no pushovers and I maintain that, especially if you look at the stats from last nights game. We just were ridiculously clinical. Goals one and three were individual efforts but two and four, whilst quite direct, were beautifully intricate to a level I had long given up hoping to see from Aberdeen. Most pleasing for me though was how varied the play was. Long balls were a valid, effective yet not over-used option and the ball mostly stayed on the deck. My only real criticism can be the pissing about with tiny passes on the edge of the box just after goal 3 that led to a chance for them. It was cocky and unneeded. All in it's been a very long time since I have felt so confident and pleased with Aberdeens form and I am very much enjoying giving some non afc fans a long overdue reminder just how much of a nightmare a smug sheep shagger is
  15. more fergie, Spence asks some really decent questions I thought http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/24826911

  17. Tru dat Bridge series 2 starts this month too http://www.independent.co.uk/extras/indybest/arts-books/the-50-best-autumn-arts-8788225.html?action=gallery&ino=11
  18. Just watched the celtic utd highlights on the bbc page. Instantly noticed a lot of empty seats at the tattiebowl so I checked the attendance which they are claiming 47386 No danger that's accurate and from the turgid stuff i saw on the highlights i reckon a few more will be staying at home in the near future.
  19. I love digital reading, I even hear that you can download them for free without paying for them like you can do with music and film etc Obviously I would NEVER do that
  20. For sure, it's a tough one. Hebrew is spot on, they are a massive club by comparison but then again so are Barnsley and he turned them down flat. He has a real affection for the place, is very settled and, as you say, has it all going well at ICT (though I would add the disclaimer that ICT are not as well run as the public perception) so why go? I wasn't surprised that he dinghied Barnsley, even posted on here that I thought he would. I suspect that butcher really loves Scottish football, pretty much all his top moments as player (club anyway) and manager came here. I think the Hibs job may just turn his head a little, he's 54 now too so it may cross his mind that he might not get many such offers again, would I be right in saying he's now the oldest manager in the league come to think of it? Thing is I cant help but think that Butcher has found his level a wee bit at ICT, if he goes I would find it very interesting to see if he was able to replicate his success. Malpas would have to go to, from what I hear he is the brains of the outfit and butcher is the motivator.
  21. Distancing himself from it on the beeb website. Hibs are clearly a bigger team and its much easier to talk players into moving to Edinburgh than Inverness it has to be said
  22. ? Shiels is currently bookies favourites
  23. Seems the SPFL dont like hearts very much, they need the coin from hosting these games waaaaaaaaaay more than hibs.
  24. Very good point Al
