South Africa and the accent to go with it⦠Never managed to catch any of todayās play. The news is full of dropped catches, will see highlights at 5. Still in it, just, but I donāt trust any of Englands batters (bar Root) to hang around long enough tomorrow to do anything.

Will dive into this one & the book thread when Iāve more time. I just want to say that my āSpotify Wrappedā ages me at 23. Not sure whether to be chuffed or horrified

FFS heās triggering me againā¦

Ach sorry that was unfair of me to call you out publicly like that. Overly sensitive to the ginger thing due to a young family members life being made a misery over it. apologies Iāll blame Rico for setting me on edge earlier mentioning (*TRIGGER WARNING* for existential despair) Mark Hateley

Pleased for Root , remember where I was watching him get his first century for England. Managed to see tail end of this one. I was confused by the timing of it, a night day test Australia time had me completely confuddled. I see it like you do. McGrath the mouth saying itās a mistake. Also meant to say - isnāt the Gabba normally the opening test? Am I imagining that? Why the change?
-
Simon? Iām confused as heās 6ft? Would have taken him at one point. Cheap punt better than Ambrose. Was also a spell there that he should have been given a shot for Scotland. He was no worse than anyone else and actually scoring goals regularly. I always admire his work rate. This will be a controversial take, deep breath - pretty sure thereās an element of the guy getting looked down in part because of gingerism. Not all but I think it plays a part. i mean look at this post - āugly little bastardā. Nae need.

Said that to my dad last night. As much as we played some bonnie stuff first half (we actually played football in the lead up to Topi hitting the bar!) it was still all far too slow. No tempo whatsoever. Going behind spurred us on. What a difference when we āgo for itā and like you say with more than a lone striker. Some good stuff from Armstrong and Polvara last night as well I thought. Although Adil reverted to early Adil. As others have said hard to be tough on Milne given season heās having. Not watched Sportscene yet but Mitov looked affa flappy. Didnāt see much wrong with their āgoalā. As ever the length of time VAR takes is bloody ridiculous. Disappointed to draw, and JT maybe needs to heed use of subs (could we have a used a H/T sub window?) for future but encouraged by that last night. Just hope JT can get us to approach more games like weāre behind!

Bloody love Devlin. Heās felt like āAberdeenā from day one. Rare for me to take to a player so early and so completely but feels like heās been here forever not just 2 1/2 years. There can be better players at us for longer who donāt feel so integral to the club for me. Heās not perfect but not coincidental to me that our results are better when heās in the team (I think?). I just like how the guy conducts himself. Chuffed heās back getting a consistent run in the team.

Fair enough tlg - we all see things differently, as long as we both canna stand the baith of them TBH I donāt buy into any of the kissing the badge and such like from most of them, itās a job, all water aff a ducks back to me. Iām also not on social media bar here and donāt see any of that crap. I donāt hate Miovski, heās an irrelevance.

This has been rumbling on for nearly (maybe more than?) 30 years now. It needs adults to sit around a table together; so far no party have proven themselves capable of that. I expect it from councillors with their political posturing but as ever Iām embarrassed by Cormackās communication. I find it hard to believe the PR expert on our board had any say on that statement. Iām affronted by it. Unbelievably I think he is even less likely to bring this project to fruition than Milne. edit:and by party I donāt mean political

Afraid to say I pay little attention to all this now and thatās as a supporter. The general public Iām sure pay little heed. Aside - the only thing I dislike on this forum is seeing links to the South African weirdos website.

I assumed he was injured too not even getting a place on the bench. I like the lad, how comfortable he is, especially initially when the team were more on the front foot, to step out with the ball. But heās not ours and not a sniff at his level of ever being so. If weāre sticking with the 3 and with Tobers out long term, imagine weāll bring someone in in January. Iād much rather play our own players than a loanee. like I say nothing against Alfie, just me and the loanee system . And obviously heās written himself into our history now thanks to the cup. Cheers loon.

Not to mention accompanying Gary Blissett to pay off a Malaysian prostitute accusing the England under 20 team of gang rape⦠This book is not all japes and derring do, parts of it like above and some stuff in prison is pretty bleak. His life is pretty extraordinary. Wild that heās ended up here.

Ajax game abandoned 6 minutes in due to ultras letting off pyro for a deceased cohort. Absolutely ridiculous scenes This picture must surely be AI though or are the stewards blinā?

Any Aberdeen fan will take that? No one will care? Sorry Cammy but no. Sadly just reinforces my concerns that any overhaul/reinforcements arenāt going to make much of a difference. JT seriously worrying me he just doesnāt have it
