  1. Trespasses - Set in Belfast during the troubles of the early 70s A young catholic school teacher, falls for a high profile, married, Protestant lawyer. Who is fighting on behalf of detained , supposed IRA terrorists. Stars Gillian Anderson as the drunken mother of the school teacher. Not bad, but couldn't help think it would have made a better film than a four part series. One thing I took from it. Flags on lamposts are very wrong.
  2. Ally MacLeod took charge of his first Dons match on this day 1975. Dons managed a 2-1 win, with Jocky Scott scoring the winner. Paul Hegarty scored for them. Also on this day in 1961, a certain Neil Simpson was born. Oh for a Simmie in our midfield now.
  3. Hope this goes on our honours board. We'll catch hearts on the trophy count yet. Super Joe Lewis

    Xmas

Fuck, don't tell him I don't buy a poppy now.
  6. What a cracking thread. I thought my coupon was up one Saturday, as Brighton had been beaten by Shrewsbury, in the old 4th division, according to Ceefax. Turns up at Willie Hills, expecting hundreds of pounds, only to find out Kerry Mayo had scored a late equaliser for Brighton and busting my coupon. Moral of the story. Wait for the classified results.
  7. Fit Rico says. Clarksons best spell was when Robson was caretaker and Ramadani and Shinnie were doing the heavy lifting, allowing Clarkson to do his thing. I also don't buy into him being too lightweight for our league. Whilst not in anyway a natural hardman, he does get stuck in, but it's just not his game.
  8. Aye, a strange one. We are crying out for a creative player in midfield and yet we have (in my opinion) out best midfielder rotting on the bench.
  9. Miley Cirus - Wrecking Ball
  10. No, because the posts relating to the Brewdog link up were moved from the original 'club stuff' thread to a specific Brewdog thread. Felt his position had become untenable.
  11. Our Commerical Director Robbie Hedderman, is leaving the role. Worthy news for this thread...

    Xmas

Be respectful min. Their grandfathers died to allow us to put up Xmas decorations in November.
  13. So, back to the Brewdog link up with AFC...
  14. Don Spencer - Fireball XL5
  15. Byron Baker do a nice roll/rowie. If you are in the city centre, Wilsons newsagent on King Street sells them. The rolls from The Bread Guy are quite shite, in my opinion.
  16. Boney M - Brown Girl in the Ring.
  17. James Blunt - You're Beautiful.
  18. Does anyone use any of the clubs "Official Partners" for anything at all? Quite a list now, but can't say I would use any of them, bar the bus companies if needs must. I know a boy who only drinks Fierce beer now, because of their link up with the club. I find that kind of sad. I'll have to seek him out to see if Brewdog is back on his radar for his alcoholic requirements.
  19. XTC - Love on a Farmboys Wages
  20. Sunday fitba is bad enough, but 4:30pm kick offs can flock right off. Did we not play these feckers at Pitodrie two years ago, around the same time and pumped them 3-1? The cracker from Scales, being the icing on the cake.

    Xmas

I don't mind Xmas as such, but hate the adverts on the TV and songs being played so early. No idea why you would want decoration's up in November either. Each to their own and all that though.
  22. I'd say the Tories have been trying to do it for years, long before Boris came to power, but Mad Nadine being Culture Secretary was like adding petrol to a fire. Of course, they are aided and abetted by a right wing press that have always detested the BBC.
  23. That's how it works now though.
  24. Kraftwerk - The Man Machine
  25. The Stone Roses - Shoot You Down
