After the weekends results I no longer follow this stupid game.

We have a KDM trophy game on Tuesday at Spartans which we can field 3 overage players in and then Aberdeenshire Shield game on Wednesday against Banks of Dee where I think we can field first team players a run out as well. Might be slightly better than arranging a bounce game to give players a run out that are not away on international duty.

Finished 2-0 to Boca. Totally controlled second half. Bit disappointing as Super Classicos go. Only one player stretchered off and it was for a non contact injury.

Decent first half in super Classico with Boca taking 1-0 lead just before half time. Some robust challenges but not the usual level of violence and a football match has even occasionally broken out.

Not much to add to everyone’s comments. Hugely frustrating watch and really struggling to justify spending all day travelling to watch this pish.

On Sunday premier sport have Boca Juniors v River on at half 7. Usually pretty wild affairs.

Wonder how much the cheating at Accies (registering players as amateurs but paying them to get round signing ban) had to do with this decision. I was really surprised when club said he could leave in summer. Thelin then contradicted that when the club announced Marshall’s loan deal when he said club would be watching his progress at Arbroath with a view to getting him ready for the first team.

Impressed me when I have seen him on loan at both Edinburgh City and Cove previously. Played central midfield at both. At City they rated him as best midfielder in league 1 that season.

Need to get this lads contract extended.

Would expect Gyamfi to start at left back and Lobban at right back. The three centre backs that played last night probably need to go again. Midfield is interesting one as not convinced by Aouchiche at all and have said before just don’t think Polvara is suited for Scottish football. Would expect Shinnie to come back in but not sure who we play in along side him. Armstrong definitely needs to play further forward. Up front we have an issue as we do not seem to have a natural goal scorer. Nisbet is probably closest but system we are playing is not allowing him to get into positions to score. We were unlucky to lose last league game against Motherwell* and hopefully can get the breaks they got in our favour this time. In train then pub Y pub then train 1-0 Karlsson * or that was my morphine effected view of the game.

Finished 3-3. Some cracking goals, VAR being used in right way to pick up an incorrect penalty award then reverting to type to deny Brugge a winner. Great nights entertainment.

Good game between Club Brugge v Barcelona. Both teams playing some really nice football.

If he’s not fully fit then I would definitely keep him for Sunday.
