Has been quite painful so far but appears to be turning the 3rd set round. Verdasco is definitely there for the beating, Murray made quite a few mistakes in the 2nd set.
  2. And leading lights being attracted up North from the central belt will decrease substantially too.

Another good win for Murray. Playing very well. Laura Robson also doing very well, she could go quite far.

What a mental day. Can't believe Nadal, Tsonga and Federer are all out. Murray just needs to keep his concentration. I think the tournament could benefit from Murray and Djokovic NOT getting pumped out anytime soon.

Bit of a bizarre day with all the withdrawals. Murray looked quite comfortable. Bet he was pleased about Tsonga though. Federer in a battle just now, surely not another big name to go out!?

So, possible thoughts on why Nadal is no longer at the top of his game? http://tennishasasteroidproblem.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/curious-case-of-rafael-nadal.html
  9. I think crowds took a bit of a dive under McGhee, but that was always going to happen after the glory years of Calderwood.

Looks like Murray has done okay in the draw, avoiding a quarter with Nadal or Federer. Djokovic has done the best out of it though, with Murray, Nadal and Federer all in the same half of the draw.
  13. A couple of things: This is night and day compared to Duff and Phelps. Pro-active action has been taken straight away to try and cut costs. Tough one for the supporters. Joking apart, I've no idea what I'd do if it was my club and I was being asked to stump up money for a season ticket when the future is not entirely clear. I guess I'd probably do it providing those responsible for ruining the club are as far away from it as possible.
  14. Dundee's city centre has had quite a lot of regeneration while Aberdeen City Council are determined to block anything new to Aberdeen (including the stadium). Hull, fucking hell.
  15. Aberdeen has not made the shortlist. But Dundee, Hull, Swansea and Leicester have.

Good week for Murray, turned a tough game round today to win it with a great final set. Just watching the charity doubles game, pity Henman wasn't on the other side of the net so that Murray could give him the thorough beating he deserves!
