Munich was awesome. When I was over for the Bayern game a few years ago we were just in bier halls but it was great to tour quite a few bier gardens in the sunshine this time. Beer was superb as always, very drinkable.

I do agree the whole thing was very off putting, both sides unable to answer some key questions. It probably succeeded in convincing many undecided voters not to bother voting at all.

I'm watching it about 20 minutes behind and Salmond has been utterly dreadful on the currency question. Anybody that thinks the currency isn't the big issue is out of touch with the debate.

If folk are voting for independence just to wind up the huns then we really do live in a fucked up country. As for the currency and not caring what it is, just ask the Irish - the Euro has been a complete disaster. The Yes campaign don't have a Plan B if we can't use the pound sterling, this is still the clincher for many people.
