  1. Any footage at all would have been nice.
  2. Willie has been great so far tonight, especially when he said he reminded Rummenigge and Breitner at last year's match of the "humping" they got in 1983! Methinks Jeff Stelling is relying on his researcher though.
  3. Found an old Football Focus feature:
  4. Half-time in the Leeds game, and they're saying its Miller, McLeish and Black on the programme tonight.
  5. If everybody's fit. I'll go for Langfield Vidal Diamond Mair Mulgrew Smith Kerr Severin Aluko Mackie Miller Tough call re:Mulgrew as he is a poor defender, but contributes to the attack (now and again!).
  6. My sentiments too. Aside from this game, Aluko and a fit Smith have to come into the reckoning for playing up front if our so called strikers can't score.
  7. Hughjorgan, Caroline B, take your pick
  8. Well, who knows what the real story is with the Main stand. Why not? They were talking about bidding last summer. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/7464150.stm
  9. Because he's a scapegoat, silly!
  10. At the AGM, they seemed to suggest a joint-bid with Wales (or whoever) would still include Aberdeen.
  11. But, they have to do something about the main stand so their hand will be forced - either redevelop the main stand or move to a new stadium, and I'm pretty sure it has to happen before 5 years time. As an aside, Scotland hosting a future European Championships would help enormously.

    Celeb Deaths

Ted Kennedy Youngest brother of JFK and RFK, aged 77. Has a brain tumor. Michael Foot Former leader of the Labour Party, aged 95. I'm amazed he's still alive! Herbert Lom Actor, most notable as Clouseau's boss in the original Pink Panther films, aged 91. Eli Wallach Actor, was great in The Good The Bad & The Ugly, aged 92.
  14. Fergie, Strachan and Leighton would have been a feisty line-up!
  15. Better than Lee Miller's though!
  16. Agree, Wright probably deserves a chance. As for Mackie, he's playing wide right at the moment. I'm hoping Smith will start there soon then there should be competition for places up front which will hopefully be the kick up the arse some of them need.
  17. Kerr and Severin seem to be our only consistently decent performers of late.
  18. Surely nobody is going to lose any sleep over this, but at the same time hope he does okay as he's a bit of a cult figure for some weird reason.

  20. It definitely wasn't Maguire Was between Seve and Kerr for me for 85 minutes, then Kerr started to become a bit sloppy towards the end so I have voted for Severin. Vidal also had a fairly decent game.
  21. The one at the start was right in front of where I sit, the vast majority thought it was a dive. I'd like to see it again, as Langfield could well have fouled him. But everything else went their way.
  22. Just in, it was awful. Kilmarnock were atrocious but we couldn't break them down 2nd week in a row the officials have been shocking. I think we had a couple of decent penalty claims turned down. Only the last 15-20 minutes were good, when we started to throw everything at them. Up until then, it was a dreadful match. Kerr and Severin played very well. I didn't think Miller, Maguire or Mackie did much. Miller won some headers but we didn't seem to get going up front at all today. Mulgrew is becoming a real liability defensively. Jamie Smith came on and didn't get stretched off!
