  1. SAF to open it on 31st Oct: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-49565717
  2. It’s all about the election. Cummings will lose BoJo everything.
  3. <a href="https://ibb.co/dBcyLnt"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/Y2WGyvX/DC8-DC68-E-8512-4-D26-B1-C1-A6-D98-FA15-DE4.jpg" alt="DC8-DC68-E-8512-4-D26-B1-C1-A6-D98-FA15-DE4" border="0"></a> So the i newspaper reads DonsTalk
  4. Agree with some of this but Davidson has shafted Boris, they might lose all their seats North of the Border, and all seats will probably go to the SNP and Lib Dems. Happy days. South of the border there will be alliances between remain parties which will minimise the damage that these Eton cunts could do to the country. They might be leading in the polls but I just can't see them getting a majority at all. That said, I think a vote of no confidence followed by temporary government (possibly not with Corbyn at the helm) and extension of Brexit date is most likely option. Unless a legal move is successful.
  5. Pitchy McPitchface
  6. Fair play to Top Gear. It was hilarious last night, some genuinely LOL moments. Best series for a long time, including some of the later Clarkson/May/Hammond series which were beginning to go stale anyway.
  7. I think it looks great and will definitely be getting it.

    Andy Murray

Amazing. Always a winner! But what a weekend for Lopez, outstanding for someone who’s not a spring chicken.
  9. It’s the first time I’ve seen any women’s football since Richard Foster played for us.
  10. Dream scenario for me is BoJo winning the leadership contest, immediately facing (and losing) a vote of no confidence in parliament, becoming one of the shortest serving prime ministers ever. Would be funny as fuck. I don't think it's beyond possibility.
  11. I completely agree with the above - the Eurozone is a fucking shambles. Pre-Euro and post-Euro trips to Dublin saw a HUGE difference in the price of things. So is the Schengen zone from a security perspective. We're in neither, thankfully.
  12. An incredible effort considering they are both dead.
  13. Agreed, sad news. Signed Strachan and Archibald and certainly laid some of the foundations of the squad for Fergie. Seemed a very decent bloke indeed.
  14. Sick of having a manager who’s not very tall.
  15. It’s no longer about Brexit and all about the Tory leadership election now
  16. Excellent 3 part documentary about Peter Sutcliffe on BBC4 this week. Very well put together, and quite enlightening as to what attitudes to women were like in the 1970s, particularly those who walked the streets, and how inept the police investigation seemed to be (witnesses were ignored, and Sutcliffe was questionned and released 9 times!?).
  17. Predictions: -MV3 defeated next week (if it is even brought to parliament). -May to resign. -Some chaos. -Longer extension requested by April 12th. -Take part in Euro elections. -Eventually not leave the EU.
  18. Ecksit.
  19. ? Nobody on either side has got anything.
  20. What a fucking shambles. It really is not clear how this is going to end. The hard right of the Tories seem to have May bent right over. She’s doing a horrendous job. Article 50 should be withdrawn.
  21. I thought this weeks Alan Partridge was a huge improvement on the rest of the series so far. Almost vintage Partridge.
  22. Leadsom can get it right up her. Horrible human being. Fuck knows where all this will end but running down the clock has not worked. There’s been too many (on both sides of the commons) putting their parties first, before the national interest.
  23. Spot on Rico. The whole post read like classic Islamaphobia but born out of ignorance. There’s nothing, nothing at all, wrong with Muslims. It’s the eejits (of various faiths) who use religion to wage their wars. If it wasn’t for the quiet peace loving folk who find a great deal of comfort in worshipping an imaginary being, I’d just ban all religion! Right-wing extremism is a huge issue, fuelled by populist clowns who don’t deserve the air time.
  24. Finally got round to watching Leaving Neverland. It’s pretty lurid but benefits from a very straight-forward matter-of-fact style and is absolutely 100% believable. The second part is particularly powerful. That said, my mind was made up about Jackson years ago. Anyone who doesn’t believe the content of this documentary can fuck off really.
