Got to say, this is looking like a questionable decision IMHO. Langfield was hot and cold today - some great saves but some very sloppy mistakes. His form seems to have dropped this season, he was so consistent for the last 3 seasons. I wonder if this is down to Leighton being binned. It's all very well saving money on the wage bill by perhaps getting somebody else in who will do more than goalkeeping coaching, but if Langfield is starting to cost us goals, then that costs us money too in terms of our final league position.

Either way, the only point I was trying to make was that he deserved to be in the poll ahead of Maybury, Smith and Mulgrew!

Just in Cracking game, best game I've been to this season. Gutted to only get a draw as we lost some sloppy goals, but it was great entertainment. We did so well considering we were playing with 10 men for most of the game. Langfield could have done better with the first goal, he palmed it straight into trouble. But apart from Aluko, I thought all the team did really well, including Kerr and McDonald who were great.. MacLean was excellent, but I also thought Paton and Mackie had great games. Tremendous atmosphere. Got to say, Mulgrew is starting to look like a composed centre half. Just hope the same team turns up on Tuesday.

Kiriakov's preferred position was left back, where he played for Bulgaria. He played in midfield as well obviously, but I'm convinced left back was his natural position.
