I would have thought Mezzanine has his reasons for chucking it in - whether he didn't get enough support from fans, or the club, or a mixture of both. It's more the likely the apathy spreading throughout the support had a bearing.
Would love to hear what the "fans rep" on the board had to say though.
Well the race was pish.
I don't think removing the refueling has enhanced the entertainment, as the pit stops are just a procession now - all done in 4 - 4.5 seconds.
Somebody's put all of Peter Graves scenes from Airplane on to one video:

Joey, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?
The main reason I missed one home game this season was because the football on display has been awful for most of the season, and I had something better to do that night. If they don't sort it out on the pitch, I'm not renewing my season ticket.
Should be a cracking season this year. First time I've really looked forward to a new season for a long time.
Four teams all looking very strong (Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari). It's gonna be good!
Sensationalist pish.
There are a few morons in our support. Fact.
I don't think either of them deserve personal abuse at Pittodrie, they are two of the finest players we've ever had. Nobody is above criticism though.
Famous last words but I quite fancy our chances, mainly for the reasons above. I don't think they will sit in and try and hit us on the break.
Hopefully the team and management have sorted themselves out during the extended break.
Arsenal on fire tonight, without Fabregas.
Anybody else think they're on for winning something this season? EPL could be a good shout looking at the fixtures...
