The old joke about opinions and arseholes… So I didn’t think Geiger was up to much, I think Aremu is off the pace but could come good (they both could). I thought Olusanya had a good first half, he’s quick and causes quite a few problems. As others have said the red card changed the game - and it certainly looked like a pen being right in line with it, but being a red card looked harsh. Nisbet was my MOTM, he played very well. Frame also looks good. We are a complete shambles though.

That’ll be the Red Nitro, another great beer which is a smoother version of Red Kite but not quite as good. Craftsman in Aberdeen have black isle beer on draught.

Nice one. Black Isle are my favourite, some fantastic beers plus their bars in Inverness and Fort William are great.

I mind being at an AGM during the Skovdahl years and Milne told us that we need to move out of Pittodrie because the main stand was falling to bits. Incidentally the reason I remember it being during the Skovdahl years was because Willie Miller stood up at the same AGM and demanded to know why the players were still using the tired training facilities at Balgownie that he used in the 80s. Before Milne got a chance to answer Ebbe piped in with “Yeah but there’s new grass there now!” to much amusement.

At some point many years ago they probably could have been considered as a good news story for the NE. But once they went flying past being a “craft” brewer and became a behemoth, and tried to expand too much, the writing was on the wall. Not helped by being set up by a pair of wallopers. Much better beers available from smaller breweries all over the north of Scotland.
