  1. Would have been better if it had been Tokely
  2. fecking hell, four goals in the first half, these games are historically tight and only ever really have one or two goals in them
  3. Hope I,m wrong but still think Maybury will make all the right noises about staying, but ultimately he'll move to a.n.other Championship side on £8/10k per week, more than double what we'll pay him. Agent will be working away in the background believe me
  4. [quote author=Mentorred link=topic=3308.msg41552#msg41552 date=1206568750 Should the Dons keep hold of Dave Bus beyond the summer? In a word NO
  5. Thank you very much you bastards Had already made plans to get up for this one. As others have already said anticpated a half decent crowd for this if still possibility of getting into top six and vouchers being given out for potentail cup final appearance. Guess its a half day off work or sit in the hoose and watch it then
  6. Great blast fae the past
  7. King Creosote - Bombshell
  8. H'min Bobby dinnae hud back
  9. As a testament to the band's popularity at the time, a US Gallup poll in 1984 saw Def Leppard voted in as favourite rock band over peers such as the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and Journey. However, this popularity was not matched in their native England, a fact that greatly bothered them. US album sales were relatively slow (compared to Pyromania) until the fourth single, "Pour Some Sugar On Me". The song hit Number 2, and Hysteria finally reached the top of the US Album Charts in July 1988. In October, the power ballad "Love Bites" would become Def Leppard's first (and only) Number One single on the Billboard Hot 100, and in January 1989 the band scored another US Top 5 hit with "Armageddon It". Hysteria is one of only a handful of albums (and the third in rock history) that has charted seven singles or more on the US Hot 100: "Women" (#80), "Animal" (#19), "Hysteria" (#10), "Pour Some Sugar On Me" (#2), "Love Bites" (#1), "Armageddon It" (#3) and "Rocket" (#12). It remained on the charts for three years and has sold 18 million copies worldwide.

  16. Where as walking down Sauchiehall/Argyle/Bath St in Glasgow wearing an Aberdeen one is a passport to safe passage Two words Fecking erse
  17. Aye Dave, sorry forgot about that one. My youngest was telling me that afore the game and basing his optimism upon that
  18. Yes thats what we achieved last night and worthy of mention, but what a surprise that is the statistic the tabloids choose to focus upon today, rather than the more interesting one I heard last night, in that it is apparently way back to 1951 to find the last time the Dons failed to win a Scottish Cup tie at the Tattie Bowl Feck if I'd known that prior to kick off, might have been a few quid placed on us
  19. how could I forget that
  20. O.A.R. - 34th & 8th [ Disc 1 ]
