  1. Possibly only paper talk as no quotes from the LSC and just general comments from Kerr about real fans etc etc Source today's Record HEARTS boss Jim Jefferies is ready to launch a bid for Aberdeen skipper Mark Kerr and is prepared to double his wages to lure him to Tynecastle. Kerr is out of contract next month and will be a key part of the Gorgie side's all-British signing policy to re-build their team during the summer. Kerr looks certain to accept Jefferies' offer after being subjected to disgraceful abuse from Aberdeen supporters who turned on him during a dire campaign. And the 28-year-old blamed the Dons for not doing enough to persuade himself and others to sign new deals. Kerr said: "Contract talks here haven't been as frequent as people say. The club haven't been forthcoming in negotiating. "I've been offered a deal but when it is offered you negotiate. That's not happened throughout the team. Nobody has signed, not just me. "I have to look after myself. If I was totally happy I would have signed. I'm happy at Aberdeen but I'm not just going to sign without negotiating. "I've been offered one deal and that's it and that's been the same with the other boys. "So maybe it's not all to do with the players. Maybe it's thought some don't want to be here but that's not the case. "The club obviously want to keep me. Maybe their hands are tied but I'm having a go at them. "I've never said I'm not signing. I've often said that if I had something else on the table then I would be honest and tel l people. There's nothing there just now. "I am going to speak to the gaffer and hopefully we can clear things up but it's not in my mind to walk away." Kerr hit back at the boo boys and insists he is not rattled by their actions. He added: "I don't think the fans come to boo me, though sometimes people have booed even in the warm-ups. "These people don't bother me. The real fans do."
  2. I remember Telly Savalas singing it
  3. Would it be overly cynical of me to suggest that by the sounds of that he might not be overly burdened by offers to sign elsewhere
  4. Haven't ruled anything out yet Gary Well rule out bring here mate. Bye
  5. Checking out JC's Majorca villa for the summer hols ?
  6. Interesting the spin that is starting ot emerge from our management team as the season end approachs. Are they speaking from the heart or merely because the penny has finally dropped that the fan base has a pont in being completely fucked off at things. Dingus wanted to impose record fines on Foster and Diamond, Dingus admitting that the invisible man has this season simply been the invisible man, and now Leitch sooking up to the supporters. Anyway: In/Oot - Have a guess Prematch: Work Match: Listening online Post match:either ripping or being ripped by my Killie season ticket holder mates Prediction: 1.0 us i hope, but realistically Killie could double their entire away goals count in 90 mins
  7. Fecking hell Bobby, every day is a school day. Certainly never knew that Cannae say that there is much meat on those bones to pick o'er. dinnae really fancy taking any of them to Pittodrie
  8. Taken a long time but sensible words at last, maybe there is hope after all.
  9. http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?playerid=26826 176 games in five years suggests to me that he was
  10. In fairness Ifil was at least getting a game
  11. Agree he sounds keen, but could be just playing games to stoke the fires of others supposedly interested in him. Not 100% convinced about Kyle, but guess he could be about as good as we'll get, unless of McGhee pulls an iron out of the fire
  12. Can't really disagree with that was at the game at Fester Road when he made his debut, but like others fucked if I can remember the score. Do remember driving back up to Inverness in a total white out afterwards though
  13. Absolutely superb article. Still remember clearly picking up the Retard on 1st or 2nd Jan and reading on back page that Ncholas had signed. Things were done differently back then and in some respects it was more enjoyable, without the constant media attention, and just finding out it had happened after the event. Oh to have Nicholas and Gillhaus at their peak playing for us up front just now.
  14. Can forget Rooney & Hayes as well, as targets for Doncaster
  15. In that case, in no uncertain terms fuck off, enjoy life in Division 1. Next
  16. We watched him prior to January transfer window also, but held off doing anything owing to the chase to capture O'Brien. See St Johnstone are now allegedly favourites to sign McAllister.
  17. How do you qualify you to get an invite ?
  18. Would of thought they were so similar it would be nigh impossible to play them both at same time
  19. Have read both the new Mark Billingham and Stuart McBride ones in last couple of weeks. Both of them were really good, with McBride back on form after the disappointment of the last one of his I read. Just about finished Mark Beaumont - The Man Who Cycled The World. Didn't watch the prog on BBC but this has been a fantastic read. A real inspirational story..... in fact think I might take the bike to the shop for my paper instead of jumping in the car
  20. Exactly what I was thinking Ally, but just been reading that Stokes and/or Riorden are likely to be sold in the summer window.
