  1. Heard pre airing of last nights episode that a second series had been commissioned and said the herself that it was guaranteed that the serial killer would not be caught in last nights finale. Have to say it kind of ruined my enjoyment of what otherwise had been a really enjoyable series.
  2. And yet another name added to the mix..... .taken from today's online Scottish Sun, and perhaps not surprisingly without any quotes from anyone at the club. ABERDEEN are weighing up a loan move for former St Mirren striker Esmael Goncalves. The Portuguese ace scored seven goals in 14 starts on loan at Saints last season, including strikes in the League Cup semi and final. Goncalves returned to Rio Ave, where he is under contract until 2016, last month. New Pittodrie boss Derek McInnes is anxious to improve his firepower and sources in Portugal say he has enquired about 21-year-old Goncalves, who is valued at £425,000. Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Swansea have also been linked with Goncalves, who said: “I enjoyed my time at St Mirren and it would be fantastic to go back to Britain and play with a club at a good level.” Read more: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/feeds/smartphone/scotland/4963590/Dons-eye-loan-bid-for-Esmael.html#ixzz2VsoHirEQ
  3. One right, one wrong, well at least just now
  4. Starting to wonder if the Retard has jumped the gun with their report here... only online source I can see that is actually saying a decision to punt him has been made and that was from pre 8am this morning, other online sources reporting a decision to made in next few days
  5. Killie in the market for a new manager. Shiels punted for failing to meet contractural obligations allegedly
  6. That sums it up for me
  7. You forgot this one http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/1382136/Peter-Adamson.html
  8. Lol BTR Good use of search facility mate I really would like to get excited about Scotland games, honestly I would. Just seen it all before, one disappointment after another I'm afraid, so simpler to play it low key Will probably watch Corrie instead
  9. Serious question Does anyone actually give a fuck about this game tonight
  10. Wonder how much we've had to spunk away to get rid oh him a year early However another step in the right direction in clearing the decks
  11. Tommy Wright No, not that one
  12. Was Wylde the one that made his debut in an old firm game and got hooked within the first twenty minutes as the game passed him by
  13. You were born too late my dear, you should have been around in the 60's
  14. Shite hole full of inbred mongols. One or two little incidents between the locals and friendly visiting Dons fans
  15. I've done it, passed thirty seconds on a particularily slow afternoon
  16. Classic example of actually reading what you think it should say rather than what it does say because i have always read the name as Bearsden Red rather than what it actually says
  17. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree
  18. Couldn't give a fuck about them, and suspect any other Don on here that went there a right few years ago would be thinking the same..... fucking shite hole full of 24 carot gold arseholes
  19. http://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/Article.aspx/3259128 Next HEARTS striker John Sutton today shot down reports linking him with a summer move to Aberdeen FC. Sutton still has a year left on his Tynecastle contract and confirmed he aims to stay at Hearts. Sutton had been in and out of the Jambos’ starting line up last season leading to speculation he would move on. But he is determined to fight for a spot under Hearts boss Gary Locke, now that their SPL status has been secured.
  20. Boyd will stay with Killie if the interview I heard yesterday is anything to go by
  21. http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Last-Crusade-Voyages-ebook/dp/B007ZC23HO/ref=dp_kinw_strp_1 "In 1498 a young captain sailed from Portugal, circumnavigated Africa, crossed the Indian Ocean, and discovered the sea route to the Indies, opening up access to the fabled wealth of the East. It was the longest voyage known to history; the ships were pushed to their limits, their crews were racked by storms and devastated by disease. However, the greatest enemy was neither nature nor the fear of venturing into unknown worlds. With blood-red Crusader crosses emblazoned on their sails, the explorers arrived in the heart of the Muslim East at a time when the old hostilities between Christianity and Islam had intensified. In two voyages that spanned six years, Vasco da Gama would fight a running sea battle that would ultimately change the fate of three continents. The Last Crusade is an epic tale of spies, intrigue, and treachery; of bravado, brinkmanship, and confused - often comical collisions - between cultures encountering one another for the first time. With the world once again tipping back East, The Last Crusade offers a key to understanding age-old religious and cultural rivalries resurgent today." Seems really relevant currently with all current religous conflict in today's world. Although I studied history at school (ages ago) I don't really remember too much about the crusades and certainly didn't remember that in the early to mid centuries of the last millenium Europe was mostly Islamic. Anyway just about a quarter of the way through but a good read so far.
  22. Just ensuring our reality is crystal clear to all. I mean FFS Manc imagine the fans having unrealistic ambitions
  23. In fairness will probably do alright for them next season as only going to be playing at the level he was for QOTS this season. The challenge for him will be to produce it as NewCo move up the leagues.
  24. I have absolutely no doubt about that whatsoever. We need to face facts. We are burdened with debt, a stadium that is fast becoming seriously unfit for purpose, suffer from a serious lack of investment, and are and will REMAIN a selling club. Put all of that in the mixing pot, and an offer of £1m for any player of ours is simply not going to be turned down. Don't like it, but thems the facts guys
  25. The question is how much of a difference is there in the definition of "silly money" between the fans and our board
