  1. So the Scottish Parliament has passed the first hurdle in this potentially becoming law, although still a long way to go. Are you supportive or not and what is behind your thinking. As one that has experience of family suffering painful protracted death I am very much in the pro camp provided it involves terminal illnesses only, signed off by at least two medical practitioners and is very closely controlled.
  2. Out Golf Watching on TV Bed 2-2 Nisbet & Knoester This point will see us finish above Dundee Utd but expect Hibs to win so third place is gone We'll just have to fuck things up for them by winning the cup
  3. On the his occasion in fairness not convinced there is a case for suggesting that there should be in all honesty. A sorry state of affairs
  4. Livi two up in play off first leg this evening @ Firhill against Partick. Was hoping Partick would get through to the final as would rather them come up than Livi. Think if Livi were to play Dundee or County in the final, unfortunately I think they would probably win it
  5. You are now attributing quotes to me that I didn't make in your last post You are losing it
  6. Well that's quite the post I don't dislike Panda, I dislike the BBC as an organisation. Sure you'll work out the connection. Also intrigued by your reference to me replying to Panda's posts. Yes I did earlier but curious about my alleged response to his every post as I literally don't since our online spat last summer Anyway, I'll leave the posts alone and let others decide. I have far far more important things in my life than arguing about this any further on here.
  7. I must be missing the posts that refer to the first three examples you posted above. The irony of all this, is that O.D although not even responsible for the comment being interpreted as xenophobic is the one that is getting called out here. Online bullying is every bit as wrong as any of the examples above and clearly there is an element of online bullying going on here. Certain posters would do well to take that point on board and think before posting. Lastly, this thread either gets back on track or I will personally delete every post from the last few pages, which is something we strive to avoid having to do and haven't had to do for a very long time.
  8. Orland Don has already said he isn't digging you out but you feel the need to prod him. Totally unnecessary and inflammatory response and adds zero value to the thread
  9. Get away with you missus, you're far too young to have been there 1970, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1990 I was at all of them. Don't really remember 1970 too much if I'm being honest Really lucky to have been born when I was and seen us lift the Scottish Cup SIX times. Beginning to wonder if I'll ever see it happen for a seventh time
  10. Now being reported in The Scottish Sun Anyone that wants to read it, knows where to find it as not posting link on our site
  11. Four year deal Fee involved allegedly Aus$ 800k
  12. Milanovic deal done according to reports in Australia this morning Wonder when we will.announce it ? Presumably this will be subject to issuing of a work permit https://x.com/marcothejourno/status/1921824140345930170?s=19
  13. Seems that someone might have taken your advice after all Rico given it was shown as the lead game on Sportscene highlights
  14. Not really Rico, wouldn't be able to see the track at the other end of the ground
  15. Mmmm, not sure to be honest. Top half is fine but don't like the bottom half of the shirt. Normally get the away shirt via my AberDNA but not sure this time. It might grow on me however
  16. Jesus, that looks horrific. I assume that spectators are all in the stand running the length of the pitch With my old eyes, I'd need binoculars to watch from behind the goals
  17. What a couple of games Inter and Barca have served up in this semi final. Breathtaking stuff
  18. Jesus H Inter V Barcelona unbelievable stuff as it goes to three each deep into stopage time to make it six each on aggregate. Another half hour incoming
  19. Ayr Huns ahead against Patrick Connor McLennan with the he assist
  20. Not going well for Stenny Two down at half time in first leg Elgin look like they're struggling having conceded four at home against Annan to trail 2-4.
  21. Know what you mean, but he isn't actually likely to get a seat on Celtic's bench as he would more than likely going there as third choice. To answer your second point, can't say I've seen him mention it anywhere
  22. Is correct mate. Would need to look up the meaning of the word ambition in a dictionary
  23. Been thinking that Doohan being prepared to go back to The Tims as THIRD choice keeper justifies us not offering him a contract extension. What a complete lack of ambition at this stage in his football life Enjoy your bank balance, doubt you'll play as many games again as you have this season. Trust Jimmy will have someone lined up with a modicum of ambition and desire to push Mitov
  24. Holy fuck You seriously couldn't make it up Always the victim https://thecsa.co.uk/scandalous-decision-on-ticket-split-i-have-written-to-ian-maxwell-this-morning/ Scandalous decision on ticket split. I have written to Ian Maxwell this morning. I said earlier that I thought Aberdeen would demand a 50/50 ticket split for the upcoming Scottish Cup Final. I thought that common sense may prevail and Aberdeen would have received around 15,000 tickets, which would have been at least a couple of thousand more than they took to the semi-final. I was quite angry when I heard the SFA decision yesterday, but I suppose not really surprised, Mr Maxwell has been no friend to Celtic during his time, even I think Celtic supported him to get the job. I have written to him this morning; the letter is below. Mr Maxwell, Chief Executive, Scottish Football Association. I think the decision taken by the SFA with regard to the ticket split for this year’s Scottish Cup Final was a scandalous decision, and one that is a slap in the face to the supporters of Celtic Football Club, who have been a cash cow for the SFA and Hampden Park for many years. Since the 2017 season, Celtic will have played in fourteen finals, seven Scottish Cup, and seven League Cup, so counting semi-finals twenty eight appearance in total. In this year’s Scottish Cup Semi-Final Celtic sold in excess of 37,000 tickets, Hearts reported sales of 20,000, Aberdeen 13,000 (at most), and St Johnstone somewhere around 3,000, so Celtic sold more than the other three teams put together, and received 25% of the profit. Just imagine Mr Maxwell if St Johnstone had managed to beat Celtic in the semi-final to play Aberdeen in the final, you wouldn’t have been able to give away more than 30,000 tickets. Now in the final every Aberdeen supporter who attended the semi-final should be guaranteed a ticket, while around half of the Celtic Supporters who attended the semi-final will be denied the opportunity to get a ticket, is that a fair solution to the problem that is Hampden Park, you could have played the Final at Murrayfield, Celtic would still have sold at least 40,000, Aberdeen would probably be around 15,000. Dave Cormack claimed if the semi-final had been at Peterhead they would have sold their 20,000, well let me tell Mr Cormack this, we visit Aberdeen on Wednesday night of May 14th, there will not be 20,000 Aberdeen fans in attendance that night, although he’ll probably pull the stroke of guaranteeing all in attendance a Cup Final Ticket. Finally, Mr Maxwell your tenure as head of the SFA has been underwhelming to say the least, imagine if the SFA was run as well as Celtic FC, maybe you wouldn’t need to milk the hand that feeds you so regularly. I also wonder if your favourite team that play in Govan had not got put out of the Cup by Queens Park, and were contesting the final, would Aberdeen be receiving 20,000 tickets? I very much doubt it. I won’t be holding my breath, or wasting my valuable time waiting on a reply from you. Regards, Joe O’Rourke, General Secretary, Celtic Supporters Association.
