I see Gallagher is rumoured to be signing on a three year deal. Jute, what's you beef with him? I can't remember why he's a cunt.

    Jute or Gallagher? ?

Gallagher was jailed for assaulting someone with a baseball bat about 6 years ago.
    Maybe that?

We signed a rapist in the past, you can’t get much worse than that.

Would be good to see us take a punt on someone from the lower leagues. Its something we haven't done often enough. When you see the success Hibs have had with players like McGinn and Nisbet and the relatively low risk it would make a lot of sense for us.

McGinn was signed from St Mirren

Allegedly we are in the final stages of finalising a deal for Regan Hendry of Raith Rovers. Can't claim to know too much about him but rumoured to have been best central midfielder in the division this season.

Started out his career at Celtic, still only 22/23. If true someone from our midfield is surely out the door ?

    Ferguson sold?

Ojo &/or McGeouch off loaded maybe?

Where did you read this about Hendry?

Just in from golf and pleasantly surprised to hear the score, even more surprised to hear Hedges is back (by Christ that one was kept quiet).

Delighted to hear St Johnstone beat Hibs, now work hard over the next week and a half in preparation for the 6-0 demolition of Hibs a week on Wednesday before moving on to Der Hun, taking their unbeaten record and securing third.

    We can but hope

    Wasn’t kept quiet.

Glass mentioned it in his pre-match press conference

  5. Outs?

Everyone who’s out of contract or on loan.
    That’s 12 gone.

    Under contract outs?

Negotiate Ojo & McGeouch off books

    So that’s 14 away now

    Ins?

    At least two centre halves

At full back it depends on how Ramsay & MacKenzie develop but I’ll say two full backs

    Two wingers

    One number 10

    Three strikers

    so that’s 10 in

I agree, but McInnes wouldn't have lost that 3-0, there was some ridiculously naive tactics and very little attempt to change it. These are actually the types of games that McInnes would grind out draws and wins in. Whilst these aren't Glass' players, it's fucking obvious what their strengths and weaknesses are and he shouldn't be exacerbating them. McInnes was good at building points, which was done even with players missing at times. This side today are probably 3-4 players away from what we'll likely see next season, so including injuries this is what Glass will have to deal with at times.

    “3 or 4”.

Fuck me I hope it’s more than that

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get a move soon he's got the physique and aggression to play higher and can raise his game when required. Whilst Hanley has clearly done well at a better side, McKenna is miles ahead of where he was at that age and is obviously just a better player. Saw some of his stats earlier in the season, maybe Christmas time, and he was in the top two or three defenders in the league (going by the stats they used, which may be a bag of shite of course). Some lower EPL team should take a punt on him as he'd be great value, with a lot of space for improvement. One thing I think would be an issue is if he goes somewhere and isn't starting. I don't think he'd be suited to being a bit part player and it could have a negative effect.

I don’t really care if he moves & isn’t starting.

The main thing for the Dons is what we get as high a sell on fee as we can.
It might take us closer to the fee we allegedly rejected from Aston Villa.

Was it 20%? 25% sell on?

25% of the crazy prices they pay there could be about £2.5m-£3m for us

That's consistently fed up and completely embarrassed by a certain poster's obsession with crying "hun cunt" or similar to any player/coach/manager he disagrees with or he has found some tenuous sevco link to (past or present)?

You're embarrassing yourself and setting this site up for mockery.

That’ll be tup you’re referring to?

He’s clearly forgotten about Fergie, Miller, McLeish, Bett etc.

I think it's way too early to be expecting a result against Celtic.

We are still shite at the moment and our passing game is revolting.

    Exactly

The Tims form has picked up - they should’ve taken about 4 off the huns on Sunday & have been in decent form the last couple of months.

Are folk eyes painted on with us?

We have been shite for months & were again for 70 minutes the other night until we equalised.

    Tims will win comfortably tomorrow.

                              Hornby

    Dons 1 - 3 Tims

EDIT - forgot big Joe likely to be out.
    Woods in for him

Good result but we need to work on our passing and decision making in final third.

The passing was abysmal. Mclennan shows some nice touches but just isnt good enough atm.

Kennedy cannot be here next season.he thinks he's Giggs and his passing is terrible.

I like the look of Woods.

Maybe with Lewis getting injured we may see a different outfield captain hopefully.

Kamberi made some nice touches and McGinn is the only striker we have.

You put him in a central forward position and he scores.

    Looked like the old McGinn.

We sooooooooo need Brown in midfield to dictate things. We have nobody there to set up chances.

McCrorie was pish today and Ferguson is so over-rated.He just doesnt take charge in midfield whatsoever.

We will lose points on Wednesday but should take Hibs down to the wire.

I actually wasnt bothered if we lost today.☹

Need this season over and changes made with good players brought in for next season.

If we lose on Wednesday we won’t “take Hibs down to the wire”

    It’ll be done.

    I predict a goalfest. Maybe 1-0 them.

I agree with RT that we'll go for a 4-3-3. I personally think that a 4-2-3-1 is our best bet. However they play three at the back so we might even match up with that, a 3-5-2 would be fine.

Our biggest dilemma is midfield at the moment. As a three, Ferguson, McRorie and Campbell are unproductive (McGeouch wouldn't change that either). Useful for games against the scum, but not when we need to draw defenders out. With Brown coming in next season, it makes the dilemma even worse. I don't think we'll win with all three in the midfield.

                         Lewis

    Ramsay Hoban Considine MacKenzie
                  Ferguson McCrorie

              McGinn Kamberi Hayes

                            Hornby

    I’m assuming Hornby is fit.

He doesn't need to. Could just play Kamberi at number 10 in a 4-2-3-1. Alongside two from Ferguson, McRorie or Campbell he'd be fine. In fact, what we need.

I agree.... but Sheerin seems hell bent on 4-3-3.

Not sure what Glass will do though.

I think the injury to Hornby has hampered his progress. Kamberi and Hornby had started to look like they were forming an understanding of each other’s game when Hornby got injured. Since then we have played Kamberi as a lone striker which isn’t his game at all. If Hornby is fit for Saturday I would go back to them both up top.

    I doubt we’ll see 2 up front.
Sheerin has stuck with 4-3-3 throughout.

Even when we were chasing a goal against a lower league team, he replaced the one striker with another, as opposed to putting two up.

Is Virtanen a central midfielder? Or can he play a few positions? Id like to see him do well but think he will find it hard to get a regular game in that position for us.

Defensive mid or a right back.

    He’s no chance of getting in at centre mid;

Brown, Ferguson, McCrorie, McGeouch, Campbell all ahead of him

McGinn and Kennedy both came off the bench for Northern Ireland in their 0-0 draw with Bulgaria.

Alarmingly Kamberi wasn’t even on the bench tonight for Albania as he is injured. Hope he is fit for Saturday.

I’m not joking when I say this:

I hope we’ve practised penalties for Saturday.
