  1. We need an out & out centre forward.

    Watkins clearly isn’t that.

So why sign him & expect him to score a lot of goals when it’s proven he won’t?

    Good luck to him.

When it (probably) won’t work out, don’t be getting on the players back... look towards the dug out.

    Please prove me wrong though.

    Here’s what concerns me.

We HAVE to finish 2nd this year, at least, or we’re forever fucked.

Top 2 go into Champions League qualifiers and will make ridiculous sums of money (in comparison to Scottish fitba’). If it’s the ugly sisters then there is no chance of ever competing again!

    EVER!

I hope the board understands this and has a plan..........but I doubt it!

    2nd.

    LOL.

  3. Whilst I wouldn’t be unhappy with a change, it’s not going to happen any time soon.

We can’t afford the pay-off of the management team, nor a potential compensation package for a new management team.

    Basically COVID-19 has saved him.

From a financial perspective & also the fact the fans aren’t there to make their feelings known.

The only way he’ll possibly be sacked this season is if we finish out with the top 4 (& don’t win a cup). One is possible, the other almost certain.

Aye,...but if we cant afford to sack him,Covid doesnt make any difference RST

Also agree with most of what Kenny says.If McInnes didnt think lumping the ball to Brucie was a good idea,he could have nipped it in the bud early on,if not worked on it in training.

He was asked post match why he started off so slowly, but avoided answering by talking about the Huns instead.

    It does though.

i mean the losses we are making during COVID means we can’t afford to sack him.

Pre-COVID, I reckon finishing 4th in the league & taking a hammering off Celtic in the semi in April, added to the utter tedium of our football, might’ve seen the end of him.

But losing £1m per month has put paid to that.

McInnes will not be sacked. Far too expensive to pay him and his backroom staff off as it is, even before having to find the funds to bring in a replacement management team.

Our best hope of getting rid of him before his contract expires is if Scotland have a ridiculously bad World cup qualifying campaign and Clarke walks next summer/autumnish. DM is probably the number 1 candidate to replace him (not because he's any good, just he's the best of a poor set of Scottish options) and there MIGHT just be room for a deal to be done by that point. Although I can't see the SFA getting close to matching the deal he has with us....but if he can get a 3 year deal with them, it should be worth his while. If Scotland do well though, we are stuck with him till summer '22

Just as well I can’t be arsed with Scotland then.

Hopefully they make an arse of it, & we get a change.

Completely unsurprising performance.  We resorted to long balls up to Anderson, who was up against two 6ft ( Plus ) Center backs, fucking hell.

Don't recall a single effort on target, middle 3 were abysmal as plenty have alluded too, Hernandez was decent at best, square head though, most of his headers went out for throw ins for fuck sake. Thought Ash Taylor was actually decent overall, Hedges looked lively when he came on, Hayes bust a gut all match without any end product and Edmondson did more than Anderson, but up against those Center Backs, no blame will be laid at the feet of Bruce, he's just not that type of Striker, he needs a Partner.

Anyway, fucking dung and more delusional pish from the Manager after the game. He won't last this season, not basing that from today obviously, basing it on the regression for the last 3 years, and this year, we actually have a pretty decent squad on paper, but we will still regress, even more so, and he'll get the dunt.

I agree with 95% of that.... except for the bit about the sack.

    COVID-19 has saved him.

We can’t afford to sack him & the management team & maybe pay for a new one.
I think he’ll see out his two years.

Just don't think Anderson is good enough, even as a short term solution until one of either Cosgrove or Main is fit. Will get bullied by the sevco central defenders. I know a lot of our support are desperate to see him do well but I'm afraid I wrote him off as not good enough over a year back. Of course nothing would please me more than to see him bang in 2 or 3 on Saturday and cause  a meltdown on the orc fanboards. But right now I'm desperately hoping we get someone in on loan that is of a better quality.
