  1. Sitting on the deck with the first outside beer of the year(just as the haar rolls in ). Bottle of Birds and Bees, nice bright beer without being over 'hoppy' like a lot of others
  2. Yes there's a cash turnstile the morn. Working til lunchtime so will head down if not too late
  3. Change of scene for me - Jerry Douglas
  4. Couple of hills for you,one for drama, and one for the views, especially at sunset, as i found out at the W./E Beinn Liath Mhor - Munro, 926m A long narrow ridge, with superb views at the end,of Torridon and Skye if conditions are clear. Start is at Achnashellach station along mainly stony but straight forward terrain with a steep section for about 3/4 an hour to get onto the ridge Heres the ridge. All the views are in the opposite direction https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/torridon/Beinnliathmhor.shtml Beinn A' Chochuill - Munro,980m An easy hill by West coast standards over mainly short grassy terrain, usually done with Beinn Euanich if bagging Munros,(appx 1.5 hrs summit to summit),but A'Chochuill the better viewpoint, even better at sunset The grassy terrain of Beinn A'Chochuill on the rhs,as you approach the summit, with Ben Cruachan to the left,a cracking looking ridge still to be done https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/munros/beinn-a-chochuill
  5. Sunday chill - Michael Kiwanuka
  6. Great tune.Played that song to death as a budding drummer (via the Sony Walkman),...while trying to replicate John Bonhams bass drum triplets(@0.30).Never quite mastered it A one off band Another great tune, from a pretty poor album,Coda Darlene
  7. Just putting it out there,...4 of us,3 Nationalists, and 1 Unionist are all agreed we'd rather now go for a no deal Brexit than whatever now comes on the table.
  8. Deek not ruling out James Wilson on a permanent deal. Hud me back https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47649823
  9. Is that the big miserable looking granite building up the hill.Driven round most of those roads but never knew that place was there. Lol at the re route looking into his living room
  10. Turquaz @Jaminthevan
  11. Cheers.Maybe a bespoke design something in between the type I posted(a bit footery) and those Heb ones(a bit plain).Pretty reasonably priced though the Heb ones, youre paying more for a plot
  12. Highlights,and pics nicked from elsewhere https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47450648 https://i.ibb.co/jWfdMRn/Screenshot-20190312-223614.jpg https://d2cx26qpfwuhvu.cloudfront.net/aberdeen/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/13011951/AT5A3763.jpg
  13. Aye,didna see that one coming, well forecast KFP again.Think weve broken some sort of record.Never beaten Rangers 3 times in one season til now. Played lads
  14. A bit more confident going forward.Another one would be a laugh EDIT - looks like were shutting up shop, Devlin on
  15. No way. HAhahaha
  16. Hopefully we're more alert to a quick break second half to put this game away.A sending off looks a matter of time
  17. Ooooft,McGinn
  18. An unusual line up. Could be making of some of these younger guys, who knows. Here goes
  19. Aye,there's not a great selection of plots out there, and pricier than expected but Ive got my eye on a good looking elevated site.Your local architect build would be the ideal scenario. The pre fab thing was to avoid a point where the money runs out before you sell your old house which I'd need to do to finish it.Caravan living doesnt quite float the boat but might have to be an option. Been in touch with a local builder and going out to assess the site and options.see what he says and report back
  20. FAO Architects on here,eg tomwiddows, mancdon? - Been looking for a new house for a while, but not having much joy.Started looking at a new build, but a few people have said they wouldnt go down that route from their experience,so began looking at these Scandi/German timber pre fab homes which seemingly can be erected in around 3 days.Like the look of them, but cant see much feedback on how they wear after eg 20 years,or if they hold their price as well as a traditional house. An example would be 'scandinavianhomes'(cant get onto their website for some reason).'Mirella' 3 bedroom would be the sort of idea being looked at.Any feedback/advice welcome Actually heres it.http://www.scandinavianhomes.com/house/kaisla/
  21. Try this stream, buffering a bit though.Pretty poor fare though, off to the garden for an hour or so https://www.vipleague.lc/1-celtic-vs-aberdeen-live-streaming
  22. Lewis Ball McKenna Considine Lowe Shinnie Ferguson Stewart MacLennan Cosgrove Wilson Subs - Craddock,Gleeason,Halford,May,Devlin,Campbell,E Ross.
  23. Some random comments - Seen me taking around an hour to get from Portlethen to where I want to at Dyce pre Bypass,...but today, left Portlethen at 07.30,and was in Foveran at 08.05 Heading into town, managing to leave 15/20 mins later. Couple of minor things; The slip lanes are a bit weird/confusing if youre a newbie A bit more signage where to get on or off Still trying to work out what or where Cleanhill was pre Bypass Other than that, thumbs up.Almost embarassing how few cars are on it sometimes
  24. Edit - Slim's got it
